Thanks for the tour. I love fresh peanuts, no roasting, no boiling, nothing. Fresh outta earth tastes so yummy! Raw okras are nice as well. Had no idea that you can eat okra leaves! Take care.

Yes, I've tried peanuts fresh off the plant. The texture is a little different, but they are good. I've never tried eating okra leaves because I have so many other good things to eat. I think you can cook it like you would cook spinach. Cheers!

Thanks for taking the time for your garden 'walk thru'. I wish more you tubers would do like one a month to show progression, successes and failures. I feel it helps us realize that seasonal/weather and general growing style differences can effect our own outlook on gardening. This comparing the "cherry-picked" perfect success only videos we see out there. When a person sees only perfection all the time sometimes they compare their gardening struggles and get a bit let down about things, not realizing the difficulties or failures are hidden or ignored by the so called experts we follow. Thanks again Jim and as always Happy Gardening!

You're welcome! I know what you mean. I've seen some pretty fine gardens, but none of them are perfect all the time. With my garden, you get the good, the bad, and the ugly :) Thanks for watching!

I like the bone white peppers on Juanita. Those have always been my favorite. Update on the Santos Orange x Midwest Midnight cross: The F1s have sprouted. They're starting on their first set of true leaves, and the cotyledons are very dark.

I really like the Juanita too. It looks great, and we love using them in pico and salsa. I hope I can keep the level of heat it has now, but you never know how those genes are going to mix up. Cool to hear that your cross has dark cotyledons so far. Hope it works out just the way you want.

Good Morning Jim - Thanks for the garden and pepper updates with your new camera. I've looked at GoPro before but have not decided on one yet. Your peppers are still thriving and producing for you which is awesome. I still have a few growing but they clearly are slowing down as are most other veggies I grow. Seeds are starting to go on sale so hope to stock up on some of the varieties you have shown on your videos for next season. Have a wonderful weekend..

Thanks Sue! The garden is still doing well considering all the heat we had. Hope you can find some good deals on seeds. I've bought a few things recently. Have a great Sunday! I got your name mixed up with another commenter for a second.

I didn't know you can eat okra leaves either. You still have a really great looking garden. Mine is starting to come alive again. I love all the different peppers that you grow, they are all very interesting. I'm not a camera expert but was a very good video. Take care and have a great week.

Thanks Shirley! Good to hear that your garden is perking up. You have plenty of time left to harvest a few things. Have a great weekend.

Something is eating my peppers and cucumbers. Ugh 😂😂😂 Your garden looks awesome as always ❤

Thanks! Sorry to hear about your peppers and cucumbers. I had trouble with grasshoppers on my peppers for a while. They aren't quite as bad now though.

Thank you! Hope you and your family have been doing well. My son got a new GoPro, so I got his old one. It's handy to use and still have your hands free.
