It really shows you how much he cares about the listener to put all of this hidden meaning behind his music that only his loyal fans would recognize. It also is a real insight into how music like this isn't simply screaming into a mic and making music. This is what I'd proudly call an art! Such passion from the band.

I'm a huge symphonic metal fan (Nightwish, Withn Temptation, Epica and stuff like that) so my pal told me about this band and I've gone to realize how genius their work of art really is. It might be too much at first for most people, but digging further into, it's amazing... I'm saying this while I'm not a death metal fanatic at the same time, but this is astonishingly cool. I'm about to buy their last 4 albums.

This album changed the way I listen to metal. It became a standard and a prove that metal isn't just noise like most people believe.

Ironically metal is one of the only genres thats actually about the music. Most of us play instruments or at least have a deeper understanding of the music. Most "music" is for social situations, not art. I couldnt care less about a person with an opinion who doesnt even play an instrument and has never dived into music before

This is what an actual effort given for a great music rather than some techno robotic sound.

Every one in this band shows how much they care about their fans giving us the best art they can make. This band is beyond than a normal Death metal band. This is what I consider real art.

why aren't the bold guy playing guitar with them live and singing ? looks like there is another guy with them live and no "other voice" singing like in the albums
@disfiguringthegoddess11028 жыл бұрын
He's only played one live show with them ever. He was more into writing the music vs playing it live. as I understood anyway

From Sotiris Vayenas's ("the bald guy") Metallum page: "Sotiris has stated in interviews that he has "obligations in Greece," and as a result doesn't always tour with the band. 'Well yes ... You know I don't do it on purpose or because I like the mystique or something like that.. I have many obligations in Greece and that is the reason. The other guys have a lot of offers to play live shows and I don't want to stop the band, because in this case we would do less shows. So we decided that it's best to use our session guitarist Dinos who is good guy and also great guitar player. At the beginning when I was not on all the shows, I was skeptical for the idea to appear just for some fans .. it just didn't felt right. But as time passed we all had a second thought and we felt that If I can do some shows it will better than not to do anything. And so we are at this phase right now.. and I try to gradually extend my presence on the live shows. But I cannot follow big tours.'"
