This is horseshit lies created by max and his piece of shit Wife who are jealous that the band continued without them. Max was a dumbass who when he left should of taken action legally but didnt and therefore handed the band over to em. Hell, IGOR was in the band for another 10 years.. that should tell you everything about how bullshit max and his wife are.

No, I am with you. I've been a fan of Sepultura going all the way back to Arise. While it took me a while to warm up to Derrick (I flat out boycotted Against when it first came out) he has vocal abilities that Max doesn't. Funny thing is that I really am pretty much alone in my preference for Derrick amonst long time Sepultura fans, who despite finally accepting Derrick still consider him the "new guy" even though he has fronted the band twice as long as Max did.

Absolutely one of the nicest guys in metal - I met him briefly after a gig in the UK when they toured for Machine Messiah. We chatted about vegan food, mostly! Nice guy, one of the best modern metal lyricists, and 'Quadra' is probably my favourite Seps album since Chaos A.D. Rock on, Derrick!

I was mad when Max Cavalera quit and they replaced him with Derrick Green. I got over that real quick when I saw Sepultura on the Sepulnation tour in Norfolk, Va. with a band Calle Puma (I think). Anyways, Derrick fucking killed it and Sepultura has since put out some great albums. Awesome interview!

Let’s face it people. There is Max era Sepultura and DG era Sepultura and there is NO comparison between the two. Max rules, Derrick...not so much. I have seen Sepultura with Max back in the 80’s and 90’s. I have never seen them with Derrick nor do I have any desire too. Sirius/XM seem to only play Max era Sep. I agree he sounds like a great guy and very intelligent. Major shout out to BAD BRAINS, one of my favorite bands of all time! Check them out kids if you are not familiar with them.
