This pattern is amazing and looked intimidating to me but turned out to actually be pretty easy with some patience. I am by no means an intermediate knitter... not a beginner, either, because I've been doing it my whole life, but never really moved past beginner stitches, so in that case... BEGINNERS REJOICE! Try this out! Just be patient and start small. I learned more from giving this tutorial a try than I have in YEARS of self-guided knitting... Thank you!

I'm very similar! I can do a whole variety of stitches but always stay away from patterns unless there's a video tutorial because of some learning disabilities I have that make just using a pattern alone very very difficult and extremely frustrating for me. So it's fun when there's a video to accompany the pattern and that's why I've always loved this channel!

Just downloaded Seren pattern. Just love the look and am planning to knit a Christmas gift. I also want to thank you for the layout of your pattern. Thank you for leaving enough of a margin on the left so that a three-hole punch can be used to enable me to file Seren in my pattern binder. Doesn't sound like much, but it eliminates the need to reduce or re-copy the pattern by moving text to the left and re-copying. Thanks for your video and instructions. Great job.

I was just telling a friend yesterday that my fingers just didn’t want to like knitting 🧶 I’ve managed to make a very simple winter scarf and prettied it up nicely with some little things here and there. I seem to have no problem with all forms of crocheting. But my heart really wants to try and succeed at knitting. And understand it! Lol. That’s a huge part of doing any art or craft. It will always mean more and appeal to you so much more if you understand what you’re doing. It makes you feel that you have purposely succeeded in making this item in your hands rather than you just fell into it and it came out looking fair. I’m not giving up and I will one day make this beauty. 👍🏼🤍

I went through a few test swatches of this (I have some yarn earmarked for this project), and it took me a while to realize I was accidentally reverse-yarnovering, which works if I'm only knitting through the front of the purl, but not through the back...so yeah, that was fun. I would love to see a video on your blocking process on this and other types of lacy stitch patterns. My projects never seem to attain the gorgeous drape that your projects do. Your videographer should be commended and the effect of the wind on the fabric shows them off to their full advantage. I really would like to see how you block. So you immerse or simply spray until damp? I NEED TO KNOW SHANDI!

Love this pattern so much! I'm having a hard time deciding which of your patterns to make first - they're all so beautiful! Do you think this would work well with an acrylic yarn?
