The reason they yell summer on some takes is because on a blooper that isn't here Summer messed up right at the end of a very long take and I can't remember who but someone yelled summer and they found it so funny that to this day they still yell summer when someone fucks up

Allen said in an interview that he actually met the lady responsible, and that, at the very least, she has never been allowed to forget the mistake, since there is always space at the end of her Wikipedia page being filled by the fact that she canceled firefly, and if it gets deleted it's back by the next morning. She has lots of accomplishments in her life, and people seem okay if those get edited or adjusted mostly the message of what a blunder canceling this show was has not been allowed to die. It appears that you cannot stop the signal...
