Thanks, Carolyn for your feedback. Yes, I wasn't completely satisfied with the modified voice I came up with. I may try to remake it sometime.

You truly challenge us to face our childhood pain, the root of our dysfunctions, to the point of speaking directly to our inner child through this fairytale. You are remarkable and gifted at what you do. I'm so glad I found your channel 🙏

good story, but the narrator's voice was a little creepy.

what a story, yes working for that freedom. My adult children were killing me and I can't fix them, I resign. Yes, it will be an emptiness so I need to find out what makes me happy. Working on this.

Amazing story, thank you! I normally listen to these without actually watching the video, but glancing over to see pikachu speaking in front of a fire with a booming deep voice gave me quite the chuckle

Wow I can't believe my behaviors are in books. Before I thought I was born like this. I lived in other country when Iived for others. I married and I came to United States I felt so bad because I didn't have needy people near me. I remember one day my husband arrived home and I told him what I can do for you to make you happy. He ansewered: you do not have to do nothing I am happy, your are not responsable for that. He said make you happy. In that moment I felt that I was dying and without purpose. It was there when I started to look for information and I found my problem.

Counselor Carl, This is excellent. If you and Carolyn have some issues regarding the voice, this can be easily solved. Judging from your other videos, your own real voice is perfect! Use your own voice. It is soothing and genuine and comforting and believable. The story and the message are wonderful, an excellent way of depicting this very real situation in life. Thank you for sharing this, Counselor Carl.

Well, it was an experiment to try to make it seem like a grandfather reading "weird Aunt Sally's" favorite fairytale to his grandchildren.
@jilltanner38819 жыл бұрын
Well, in that case, I think it should be left like this. He does sound like a caring grandfather reading the fairytale, now that I listen again. It makes it more special. It should stay just as is! (Also, "Triste" is a great name!)

Thanks, Jill, for your feedback. Triste means sad in Spanish.

+Jill Tanner Jill, you failed the co-dependency test. stick to your guns! it IS creepy! lol. Counselor Carl is talented enough of a person that he can handle the feedback. I'm just teasing so I hope you get it's a joke about the situation and not you!!! Anyway... I bet there is a young animator or illustrator out there who would help make this a full production for an extremely reasonable price or for their portfolio! someone who is grateful for your message and kindness in delivery! you are very good at talking to ppl who are lost in that fog! :) and the story is so good!!! I hope someone seeing this helps you do that! Thanks, Carl!

triste is french for sad. pronounced simply "trist" in french. no -ay.
@Serenityonlinetherapy9 жыл бұрын
jean-pierre mercier I didn't know that. Thanks for pointing that out. But "triste" also means sad in Spanish, pronounced as "trist-ay."
