Sergei has an 83% finish rate in his 18 wins. Tom has a 100% finish rate in his 13 wins. Both are in their prime, ridiculously fast for heavyweights and neither guy is hesitant to fight the other. They don't have the shiny names like Jon/Stipe, but this will be a better fight.

No it wont You have been told it better by woke mma media How is 2 (very unattractive btw) nobodys who havent dome anything, a better fight than LITERALLY the 2 goats of the highest weightclasses? Does someone need to make a video about it so you can see it or do you have any thinking ability? It seems like you people can only "know" what people tell you to How is 2 unattractive nobodys better than literally the 2 goats fighting theyr retirement fight against each other? Do you even listen to yourself speaking or do you just claim things and repeat what guys like chael, mma guru, weasel, or others tell you? They just are company men, they hype the new card up ofc they wont sabotate it, Dc.was the only one being real about it, the rest plays woke wannabe hardcore fan, the 2 goats vs each other is 100×times better than 2 unnattractive nobodys who havent achieved anything yet

Being the backup for two great wrestlers, I like to believe, that Sergei will be prepared to avoid the ground. But Aspinall's fast as lightning, so I hope, if gets taken down, he can work on the ground.. Man, Sergei has been tearing through the division the past 2 years. I hope, he gets this one done as well, before he can finally & rightfully fight for the title... 🙏

He will only “rightfully” fight for the title if he earns it, by first defeating Aspinall, which in my humble opinion, I don’t see happening. Albeit, anything can happen with the big boys division. Can’t rule either of them out
@LeviHasashi
@LeviHasashi 10 ай бұрын
@@Sorted906 I agree on Aspinall being his toughest test so far. Sergei only fought stand-up fighters with sloppy technique and Blaydes, who only shooted for a takedown once. But to be fair, Aspinall came back with one win over Tybura, after having lost to Blaydes, while Sergei has 6 consecutive wins in the first round. He's rightfully ranked above Aspinall and he would've gotten the title shot already, if it wasn't for an old Stipe, who suddenly chose to come out of abstinence, when Ngannou left... It would be a shame, if he had to do it all over again after losing to Aspinall...

STUD is the 'understudment' of the Century my fellow feathered friend! He's got Jon 'Bones' Jones energy just dripping from every pore and fiber of his being! LOL but no seriously Tom was DQ'd for illegal 'elblows' and then tbf his fight with Curtis although a TKO it literally states *knee injury* Like he self TKO'd from a bad attempt at a flying knee ... I’m with you on Tom. He’s a really likable guy and very entertaining and confident. I’m surprised he doesn’t do a little more promoting, he’s a good guy and I’m sure he doesn’t like creating drama but I want to see him make money too so sell that stuff. He has all the pieces to be a good self promoter but holds back and maybe he has said why, IDK. Who knows how that fight turns out just don’t know.

Tom is my top 2 fav fighter so I've listened to basically every interview he's done so here are my 5 cents: - he hasn't promoted himself because he saw this game as a long one. he knew he would have to fight everyone so he saw no point in calling out anyone. - that changed during his injury and he decided that he was going to become the best version of himself NOW, not further down the line. - he also has chosen to try and become a star by being himself: which really seems to be being a good bloke. - his potential path to superstardom goes through his county. IF he can become champ he will have the backing of the UK in a way NO other UK mma figher EVER has. he is already on talk shows (where for example Leon or Bisping isn't or was), he is doing PSA commercials on TV, he's a guest analyst on TNT/BT-sport. the UK is ready to embrace this guy. and if he gets the job done and they do. that embrace will be like the irish embrace of Conor and he will be an absolute superstar.

Chael, wtf are you talking about? Why didn't Curtis Blaydes protest Aspinall getting the Pavlovich fight? Are you serious dude? Maybe because Pavlovich destroyed Curtis in like 2 minutes only earlier this year, think that might have something to do with it?

I only watched the fight in support of Francis... But every time I end up watching a boxing match, I'm quickly reminded of why I don't watch it regularly. I won't even watch the rematch. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth every time. Like... "THIS IS WHY I DONT WATCH BOXING"! .... SMH

Chael is very good at what he does, the proof is the fact that I am commenting and boosting activity on his channel. However Did I hear him say that Khabib and his team never had a sambo match and went straight into MMA!? he competed in almost every combat sport in amatuer, and some as a professional. Im sure he was a Sambo national and world champion. How does one get that status without ever competing in the sport :S ?

Pavlovich has a 84in reach. Basically the same as Jones while Toms is 78 and Stipes is 80. SP also has maybe the hardest punch or at least one of the hardest punches in the division. Theres been many complaints about him rabbit punching but idt its his fault when fighters turn their heads mid punch leaving that vulnerable area exposed. I think as long as Sergei fights smart he'll dominate that division for awhile but the way the UFC is im sure he'll be held back for years just to get more big money fights out of him one way or another. With Jones/Stipe out of the picture Idn see the point in doing so because the fans love active fighters but it is what it is. We'll see soon.

Aspinall only good win was Volkov Volkov is a B level guy, way better MMA fighter than Lewis and Tuivasa or anyone below him. I also prefer him over Blaydes, even tho He lost to him while Blaydes was desesperate for a takedown with Zero ground and pound..... also 2023 I put my money in Volkov over Jones or Miocic
