As you said in the video "No Gravity", Sergei does not seem to be subject to the same gravity as us ... That says without forgetting all the work, the hours, the years of suffering for to acquire this apparent facility, and as Brianna said, his bones seem supple ... We rarely saw such receptions, so softly ... such pliés, so smooth... nothing bumped, all bound, spun, elegant and. .. lyric, Sergei does more than dance, he makes the air singing. Maybe, he is a bird, yellow or blue, and the birds are flying ... and singing. Very nice work of the great Frederich Ashton that I didn't know, and that I discover thanks to you, and by Sergei, double thanks.

The ballet is called Rhapsody. It was made by Frederick Ashton for Mikhail Baryshnikov in 1980. Sergei Polunin is the only to do it justice since. The music for the original ballet is Rachmaninov ‘s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini. This is not the music in this video.

Sergei Polunin performed Ashton's "Rhapsody" twice in Oct, 2015 at the Stanislavsky Theatre in Moscow and again in Jan., 2016. He was 25 at the time. His leading lady was Ksenia Ryszkova, also wonderful. Ashton originally choreographed "Rhapsody" (to Rachmaninoff's music) for Baryshnikov and Bryony Brind/Leslie Collier (not sure who did the first performance) in 1980 at the Royal Opera House, London. It is a beautiful piece and requires brilliant technique, which Polunin has.

El bailarin que ud menciona como superior hoy dia es una anciano, es ud experta en ballet ?, mejor tecnica que esta, imposible y ademas mas actual, ademas Sergei tiene un cuerpo perfecto, no como su preferido, que tenia talle muy largo y piernas cortas, seria muy pirotecnico, pero la elegancia es otra cosa, Gladys Suarez
