Haven't tried Ventoy in 4 years. Hopefully they worked the bugs out from when I last used it. I like the Windows Setup tools on Sergei Strelec. Create Windows version folders, copy the Wim file from the Windows ISO setup folder to the folder(s). Then I can install any version of windows from 7 -11 without the ISO file. wim or esd file works. Both the same just one is compressed.

2:48... "you lose the ISO/WIM/VHD(x) boot Ventoy ability". If you put the "Sergei ISO" on your ventoy device you keep the ventoy ISO/WIM/VHD(x) boot ability, just boot the "Sergei ISO" from your "ventoy stick"

I do plan on combining multiple tools like this one medicat and couple versions of hirens boot cd onto one usb drive but carry Hirens boot cd and this one on few dvd-r disks for the times where you cant boot from USB

This video just came up on my feed today, 17 JULY 2024, and I’m sure you’ve moved on. However, I saw no one responded to you. Rufus is great for setting up a single ISO to a single USB. Ventoy is capable of giving a boot menu and launching a number of ISO images from a single USB. So, by the way you phrased and I read your question, if you’re wanting to have multiple utilities available, i would go with Ventoy. Another channel, IT Unicorn, has some videos on how to customize Ventoy beyond it’s default look, and how to boot from Ventoy and run ISO’s stored on the hard drive by linking to them which I’d never seen or heard of before, but looked slick if one was wanting to run a Linux or other ISO operating system.

It is still under development--the latest unstable version was released just over a month ago--and there are both 32- and 64-bit versions for DOS, Windows, and Linux. ...and you will spend the next decade or so finding out all of the power user tools that have been packed into this. (Full regex search and replace in the text editor, for example, the ability to copy files from an FTP server directly into a .RAR file, or create your own menu of commands. Practically every single key on the keyboard has at least two or three functions.) Cheers!

Yes. Ventoy doesn’t care. This, Medi, Hiren, Garuda Linux, Fedora, RescueZilla, etc… Ventoy will hold and launch them all if on the same Ventoy USB.

But here I don't want to Insert pendrive to my pc, but try to boot from that pendrive which is connected to my server. Is there is any way?

Probably an external capture card? HDMI from PC to capture device - then a 2nd hdmi goes from capture device to the monitor - usb cable from side of capture device to a second pc which records the screen. Use them for consoles to record gameplay. If I've misread anything and explained this for nothing, my bad.

That's the best way to do it, that's what I'm doing atm, just making notes of folder structures and the apps within them, from both medicat hirens and strelec, and picking/choosing the best/most relevant bits from each, all into my own custom usb, and all that I personally downloaded directly from the original source and not cracked. That way I can be 100% sure and sleep easy at night not having to stress and worry about anything sketchy. Afterall.... Strelec *is* Russian. Just how entirely trustworthy can it really be at this point? Who knows if there's any kind of govt forced backdoor.

Great video. Would like to make an important question in my case concerning these dell computers that come with raid as an active drive controller (intel rst active) and not ahci. The problem is that whenever i try to boot into these machines in a winpe environment with the Strelec package if you know that, in order to reset the admin password if i cannot log into it or just backup the data of a user into an external hdd before reinstalling windows if the precedent os is damaged and cannot be repaired, the internal hdd-s or ssd-s of just the os directories into the drives are invisible. I click on “This PC” and there’s only my usb visible and nothing else. I made a search on the internet and it seems it has something to do with the intel rst driver that abstracts the hdd from the os. Please help me, what should i do in this case in order to be able managing the pc even when the pc is unbootable or just the admin password is not recognized.

I noticed in your bios that you have your ram installed incorrectly your a1 and a2 should be the same and so should b1 and b2. You're not running in two channel configuration and probably loosing some profromance on that first gen Ryzen 1700.

ah inefficient for today standards. y made an windows to go disk on external ssd so y can have full support like a regular window you can even make an windows to go from your actual windows so you don't need to reinstall your tools you can user tools like rufus or if you want to create from your actual windows a to go copy is Win2usb 7.9 full or newer witch is the best tool for it bear in mind that this feature is in the enterprise and education edition of windows might work with the professional for workstations

It is possible do a Windows 2 Go just using DISM o DISM++. The DISM from Windows 7 will not work with W10 ESD / WIM files, but any Windows 10 will.

This like the other tool is cool, but I'd stah away from it in a business environment. There are far too many pirated or unlicensed peices of software in there and if the wrong person sees it being used, you could put your company at risk. It would be nice to have something like this that only uses open-source and free utilities with the option to add the 3rd party stuff if you have a license.

Not mean to be rude, but IT *_professionals_* use their own custom multiboot drives, gathered from bits and pieces throughout their whole life. Not only because of the safety standards, but mainly due to making a bug-free environment _(where _*_every_*_ apps works as intended),_ and keeping the list updated _(instead of using ancient versions provided within these iso's)_ maximizing the support for a variety of modern hardware, whilst simultaneously making the whole thing filler-free _("dupe" apps wise)._ Not to mention that all the paid stuff in that ISO is cracked - which will get you _(or your company, that is)_ in serious trouble, if you're *_actually_* running a business, instead of fixing your own garage PC of which no one knows about. =) But, these things are perfect for an average Joe, though.

Bootable toolkits have ALWAYS been like this. Unless you're compiling and building your own. Using other collections such as this, Medi, Hirens, UBD etc will all carry risks. If it's too scary for you, then don't use it. lol
