That’s what really gets me, every time I see coverage of a crime like this. It never would have happened if the perpetrator had known there was no way they’d get away with it and it would be obvious to any objective party. What makes people think they can get away with murder, deliver and abduct a fetus who is not ready to be born, keep the baby alive and get away with that, too? It must be the grandiosity often present in people who lack empathy. I’ve seen ASPD/sociopathy glamorized on social media, lately. Some people seem to think it would be an advantage to lack guilt and remorse, an advantage in society. However, many people with disorders of empathy often have poor outcomes, because they fail to anticipate the fear, shock and outrage of individuals and society, when they violate social norms.

you should listen to some of Professor Allan Watt's lectures (guy from the 60's who studied eastern philosophy and psychotherapy). It's not that he actually believes in it himself, but he'll explain all the tricks of the trade that manipulate the subjects involved. For example, if you remember that scene in Doctor Strange where Cumberbatch is pretty much parked outside the building until they agree to train him-- that's actually a common practice to join an Asian monastery: the applicants camp outside the gates for maybe 3 days with no food, water, or sleep until they are finally accepted. This technique is favored because it makes it harder for monks to rationalize quitting since they fought so hard to join in the first place.

That's straight out of a horror movie , with a story like that I'm assuming youve had a crazy life with her😮. I just had my first baby, pretty stressful pregnancy. And my MIL started showing obsessive traits for the baby that I wasn't sure was normal. I told her I wanted no visitors the night he was born. I was hemorrhaging and traumatized and she threw a major fit and my husband let her in to hold my baby. I hadn't even held him yet. She set up an entire nursery and play room at her house, every baby item needed is at her house for if he goes over. Which is very generous but we didn't have half of the baby items at our own house and are still struggling to get some of the big items so it's weird because the baby will hardly go to her house. She keeps asking to take the baby so we can "go on vacation" ... I would never leave my baby for an extended period especially while he needs me for food and can't fall asleep without me. She bought me bottles so I can pump milk and SHE can "help" feed him instead of just from the breast. She always seems like she's up to something when she's with him, always wants to bathe him or says she needs to do this or buy this to take care of him. She calls the baby "her baby" and I recently found out she started carrying a doll around ... 2 of her babies died before she had my husband, I feel horrible for that. But it seems her trauma has turned into an unhealthy relationship with babies. It seemed normal at first but her behavior is getting weirder and I'm getting bad vibes

I suspect this type of crime has gone on forever. Think about what life was like for women centuries ago. Often, their entire worth was based upon producing children. Home butchering of animals was much more common in bygone years so women more commonly had the skills to remove a fetus. There were no DNA tests to prove where a baby came from. Home births were the norm. And forensic evaluation of decomposed bodies was especially rudimentary. I think many crimes have always occurred but we are just better at identifying crimes and catching criminals.

@@GoodnightJLH Yes. In 1 Kings 3:16-28, two prostitutes living in the same abode gave birth to their single baby boys three days apart. The first prostitute was a good mother and the second prostitute was a bad mother. After the bad mother gave birth to her newborn son, she fell asleep and lay on him. So, he died shortly after his birth. When she awoke and discovered what she had done, she deliberately switched her dead infant's body with that of the healthy live infant lying beside his sleeping mother. Once the live baby's real mother got up, she realized what had happened. So, she and the dead baby's mother fought over her living child. The case was taken before King Solomon to decide who should keep him. He decided to cut the baby in half so that each should have an equal share. Of course, the baby's real mother did not agree with his judgment and ceded her claim to the deceptive mother who was more than willing to have the baby killed out of jealousy, envy, and covetousness (Exodus 20). That was how King Solomon realized who the baby's real mother was. So, he subsequently gave the baby back to his rightful mother. Yet, even if morality in a personal relationship with God and others as per the Golden Rule was continually taught (Matthew 7:12 & 22:34-40), and the percentage of crimes remained the same today, as they were back then, with a greater total population in the world today, the overall numbers would have still increased. Since we know that church attendance is in decline and that a relationship with God in constant prayer (Genesis 4:26 & 1 Thessalonians 5:17) is undermined through misinformation, misreading, and misunderstanding of the establishment clause taken out of its original context in the 1st Amendment to the United States Constitution, attacks on the Ten Commandments and Christian displays in the public square have grown with the influence of cognitive dissonance and peer pressure. Yet, everybody knows that a lack of accountability when one is young leads to more and more self-destructive behavior as one gets older. Because the only perfect parent is God Himself, He is the role model for earthly parents to follow (Exodus 20). Merry Christmas, everyone!

@@supersarah5673 Hebrews 11:1 (NIV) says, "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." People cannot permanently cope with feeling lost, helpless, and hopeless in a chaotic universe devoid of meaning and purpose after experiencing and/or witnessing traumatic and life-threatening events in childhood, while the brain is being developed during critical growth periods. Spokane Regional Health District's "1-2-3 Trauma-Sensitive Toolkit for Caregivers" is a free resource for those interested in the subject of how a healthy human brain develops or is harmed and affects how a person is able or not able to cope with life's challenges. Babies learn the rhythm of their parents' language of origin in the sound of their parents' voices talking to each other and singing to them while they are being formed in the womb (Jeremiah 1) and hearing is the last sense a person has left before he or she dies. I have worked with many hospice patients with family units spanning generations. The ones who die in peace are those who take God at His Word that they have received His forgiveness and are saved from their sins, so they can in turn share the gift of new life through forgiveness of others before they go home to the Lord (Romans 1:16, 8, & 10; Luke 15). The agape love of God is a beautiful and precious thing (1 Corinthians 13; John 3:16-17), not mere wishful thinking.

I live in a town 20 miles from New Boston, TX where this occurred. Our area is a rural, simple area where everyone knows everyone or related. Nothing like this has ever occurred in our area and this shook the local communities to its core. I remember the day this news first broke out. All the locals where posting about it on FB and calling one another on the phone discussing this tragedy. The day this happened Taylor’s fb account was still set to public. Of course, being the nosey person I am I went snooping at the FB page of this horrible monster. What freaked me out more than anything about her Facebook profile was how NORMAL she appeared online. Almost all her pics where carefully curated professional pics of her in a meadow with pretty horses and ponies in the background in front of a beautiful 2 story home. She dressed very feminine and girly. Nothing on her Facebook page indicated she was a dark soul or had evil tendencies. I like to think of myself as a good judge of character, but after seeing her FB my first thought was, “If I didn’t know this woman and she wanted to hang out or have me take pics of her (how she met Regan) and it would just be the two of us there, I would have zero qualms driving out to met this woman…” 😱😨 That was my first thought at how non-threatening Taylor came across and how anyone could have innocently let their guard down around this snake in the grass literal wolf in sheep’s clothing young woman.

I think that your opinion of the case was spot on, and I loved the "Whimsical Walnut" farms bit😅 In the early 80's in Portland, Oregon, a neighbor teen babysat my kids occasionally. Her name was Darcy, don't remember her last name. She went on to marry a serviceman and move out of state. Years later I was told that she faked several pregnancies, and then kidnapped a pregnant woman and murdered her. She then cut the baby out of her with her car keys. I was told there was even a book written about the case. I haven been able to track it down 😢

This is horrible . Sadly not the first time a pregnant woman and baby have been victimized this way . I just dont understand how someone could do this . I recall one case where a young woman was pregnant - didnt have much money and reached out on social media for help with baby clothes etc.... An evil woman met up with her and did the same. Just absolutely sick

as a woman who has never wanted children, and feels nothing missing in my life from never having any, killing for this sort of thing is kind of incomprehensible to me. I am more like why the hell would you take someone’s life over stealing a baby? You just ruined several people’s lives for no reason. So I can imagine that people who like and want children have some sort of opposite form of revulsion when hearing these stories too. Like maybe they think how horrific it would be if someone took their child, etc. Either way this is absolutely insane behavior.

Could the culmination of all dramatic/erratic Cluster B personality disorders result in factitious disorder imposed on another (i.e., Munchausen's syndrome by proxy)? When someone's attention-seeking behavior is stuck in a cognitive-emotional rut of arrested development at an earlier age and stage of life, one likely will not care about using and/or abusing living people and their corpses as props. A lack of empathy in total depravity cannot be compensated for by having good looks, sex appeal, power born out of material wealth and possessions, and a willingness to prostitute oneself. Thus, these types of sick, jealous, envious, and covetous people tend to have one-sided unsuccessful relationships, unless their partners are extremely superficial to shallow, ignorant to stupid, and/or very desperate themselves.

There are about 30 of these cases. Another one was Brooke Crews' killing of 22-year-old Savanna Greywind to steal her fetus, who survived. The cops actually searched Crews' apartment where the body of Savannah was hidden along with the baby which Crews had stolen. The police found neither.

She still owes Bowie County money because she ran up medical bills while incarcerated. Usually they would garnish an inmate's books, but her mom would order commissary for other inmates, but that was really for taylor. Judging by the recaps from the trial, her brother was the only one trying to hold her accountable.

The analysis sounds a lot like my son’s ex wife. Her 5 children were just taken away from her by CPS and I feel she will go on decline after this. I dont see her doing what needs done to get them back. Will see. Back to Taylor, I wonder why the mental evaluation failed to see what DG sees. DG’s “speculation “ seems to be accurate.

Dr. Grande has pointed out before that mental health professionals are terrible at diagnosing people in the forensic setting. A good assessment relies heavily on the person telling the truth about their symptoms and background. Dr. Grande has the benefit of knowing all the facts that came out at the trial. Who knows what these people knew about the case before writing their report? At the very least the “facts” that they were given would be skewed by who told them what happened - the prosecution or the defense.

Good thing they didn't have any acorns together on the walnut farm. They're babies wouldn't be a nuts at all. It wouldn't be the brightest tool in the shed that's all. (Poor people). It all grew back and he believed her SMH. This happened a few miles from where I live, a similar case that is. They (a couple) kidnapped her from Benton and the husband tried chasing them Down but it ended so terribly, the pregnant lady was murdered clearly the baby died anyway. They tried to have a legitimate funeral for the baby but refused the autopsy. The funeral home director found it odd and called the police. They were a think a state over with the baby. Called an ambulance for help and the husband helped her murder this woman and newborn) Horrible nightmare. please don't get onto me about my gramer I flunked it in college not embarrassed to admit it. 😂 and I still got a degree 😅

I saw the police video of this case. She would not allow a doctor to check her at the hospital to be sure that she was ok after "giving birth." The police knew that she was mostly likely lying because the victim had already been found, but she kept saying no to letting the doctor check her baby-maker area. Finally, she was checked and it was clear she had not just given birth.
