I assumed that the iPad was really used in the first couple seasons when there was a bit of a scrappier feel, but I thought they'd replaced it with a different method and Alex was just keeping it up for show at this point. @@shikarifox4337 The thing is, as far as I understand an episode is putting together footage from all the different cameras and the VTs. If that's the case then it's not so much having uncut episodes, as stuff that wasn't put into the episode when putting it together for transmission. To have the full footage recorded om the night you'd either have it from only one camera, or have to split screen it. There are at least 4 cameras just for the studio bits with everyone in their chairs, judging by the angles and shots we get in the show.

​@@musical3lottie the way whose line is it anyway US did it was by using the main stage/wide camera as the default and only doing a minimal amount of editing. IE for the Greg and audience bit it'd just stay on that camera the whole interaction since they were already swapped to that camera. But in scenarios where they normally go back and forth, they just don't edit it down and it stays on the wide stage camera.

To be fair - someone backstage entering the scores and then showing them on screen might be more efficient, since Alex would be able to engage more in the conversations without worrying about entering correct things in. The tablet is more useful for reading info about timed tasks etc, which should not be on the teleprompter as not to spoil the surprise. Next they tell us that Alex is actually prompting the clips, especially when Greg wants to see a bit again.

I have won something from a claw machine. This was during a period when I was still trying to impress my girlfriend (later fiancée, and later ex-fiancée) with how good I was at games in general. So, when we saw a claw machine at a restaurant, I had to try to win something. First try: I managed to grab TWO things and won them. There was a little stuffed animal with cherries on its chest and a rubber stretchy toy. Naturally, I gave them both to my girlfriend.

Whether you CAN win on a claw machine really depends on the claw. Some claws function properly, but too many are too loose and don't keep hold of what they've closed on. If they're too loose, they've been intentionally rigged to drop whatever prize you've managed to grasp; the machine owner then pockets the cash without having to replace any prizes. But if the claw machine game is legitimate and honest, then it's entirely up to the skill of the person maneuvering the claw. One run of the claw will tell you whether to bother and further. If the claw is too loose, few people pay another coin, so low return for the machine owner. If the claw is functioning properly, low-skilled people will pump in lots of coins and skilled people will get it in 3 tries or less. A properly-tightened claw will net the machine owner far more cash in, but pay out for replacement prizes; profit comes down to finding a prize that will attract interest but be inexpensive to replace or hard for even tight claws to grasp. I'm champion at winning claw machine prizes in one try.
