SERIES VS PARALLEL FOR BEGINNERS WATCH HOW IT WORKS SHADE TEST!

Hope this beginner video helps people out when it come to some basic solar panel setups. Like everything there are pros and cons to to all of them. Series is a great option for being cost effective but a little shade takes out the whole string.
Series parallel the most popular option gives a little bit of the best of both worlds. Higher voltages to produce higher outputs. Shade only effects one string and wire sizes can still stay relatively small. Wire is expensive!! Parallel a nice option as well, increases amps which this is where wire size becomes important especially when it comes to how far the distance will be. Fuses and more need to be added to all these setups but with parallel setups everything tends to be bigger. That's why the series parallel is a great option. But again all based on your set up and needs. #solar #diy #beginner
