congratulations on passing the 10!! How was it? anything to be weay of in terms of topics, also what vendors did you use? Ijust stopped using PP since it expired but I am using TC and Im doing pretty good I got a 75% on my most recent exam

@@EliGutie I used Training Consultants. I liked their book and their practice tests (very similar to the real exam). Make sure you know your days, like when does the client receive their confirmation of a transaction, recordkeeping requirements, etc. I read through the whole book probably 4-5 times to feel comfortable enough to take the exam

On #18 (15:30), this is very interesting... STC study manual says: For a RR: "As an added safeguard for customers who have provided discretionary authority to their broker-dealer, the control securities may not be placed in these customers’ accounts unless their specific WRITTEN authorization is obtained for each transaction in which a control relationship exists." For an MFP: "The following special requirements are added if a firm effects a transaction in a discretionary account that involves bonds which are connected to a control relationship: 1. The firm must first disclose the existence of the control relationship 2. The client must provide specific written authorization for each transaction prior to execution This would lead me to answer "B," but you obviously got it correct on the answer sheet by choosing "D"... So which is it really, "B" or "D"???

I do not. Be sure to know G 20 and G 37/38. Also that customer complaints are a six year record versus FINRA 4 year.
