Now days I'm not much of a coffee person but my mom always let my brother and I have an Irish coffee if it was something that was served guests, and I could go for an Irish coffee. It's been over 50 years since I had one and I can still remember how much I loved it. So that might be a flavor I'd like to try.

I kinda feel like everyone is doing that. I've made it once and I think with some tweaking, it would be something that falls more into the type of bread I like. I found the texture to be more like angel food cake than bread. Still, Maria has come up with something that I think is great for the keto community and I expect a lot of people are going to put their own spin on it.

I have just gotten my first Keto chow box....not sure I am loving using them as a shake. I need to learn how to incorporate them into recipes. Can you suggest any videos you have doing that? What do you mix in the Keto Chow to liquify it…water? Almond milk?

Usually water with some sort of fat (heavy whipping cream, butter, MCT oil), I've mixed it with coconut milk, almond milk, and Milkadamia.

I like to use the savory soup mixes in recipes. They can emulsify the fats and keep the carbs way down in chili or taco meat mixtures, I can replace some or all of the tomatoes in recipes when I use the tomato basil or spicy taco soup bases.

I am enjoying the Keto Chow soups. I bought a bunch of the chicken while it was on sale and add andouille smoked sausage, sauerkraut, and either cheddar or Swiss cheese to it. Today I made one for lunch with some diced rotisserie chicken, Redmond's Real Salt, black pepper, celery salt, ground ginger, turmeric, hot sauce, cayenne, and a tablespoon of butter. It was fabulous! I think they are a terrific instant soup base to use for Keto because the carbs in homemade soups can quickly add up. Love seeing your wife in the videos with you, Steve. I love Keto Chow shakes. I usually just make mine with 2-3 tablespoons of HWC and shake until it thickens. I love to add ice. Pistachio, Mocha, Caramel Macchiato, and Pumpkin Spice Caramel are my favorites. 😋

I have the savory chicken. The first time I made it I just used butter for the fat and it was toooo salty. I have since used a sour cream and heavy cream blend for the fat and added my own chicken broth and chunks of chicken and cheese drizzled in. I really like it. Do you think you could use the beef base for chili?

I bought the raspberry cheesecake which I plan to use with softened cream cheese and add some “crumble” of dry sautéed almond flour, cinnamon, brown sugar swerve and then melted butter kind of in a dessert cup style. The sucralose makes these a hard no for me. Love the idea behind the Keto Chow shakes, but can't do the actual product. I do use their electrolyte drops

@@SeriousKeto Spikes my blood sugar and has a long, unpleasant aftertaste and a roiling tummy. Can't do any of the sugar alcohols, either. A tiny bit of allulose (like 1/16 tsp) in my morning coffee is about the only sweetener that has no aftertaste or other unpleasant side effect for me.

Been wanting to try these, but I see they have Sucralose in them, as well as sunflower seed oil. My oncologist wants me to limit seed and nut oils due to their effect on omega 6’s, but I could get past that. But I thought Sucralose was a very bad artificial sweetener like aspartame, but please correct me if I’m wrong.
