I was so surprised at how many of these I already own and love using! The only one I don't have is the electric blanket, because we live in the southern US, where it doesn't get that cold! As for coffee, we LOVE our Moka pot. But a French press works well when serving more people. We eat air popped popcorn almost every day...and I must share my secret with you. I started putting the extra popped corn in air tight bags in the freezer. This popcorn tastes even better than when it was first popped!!! We also buy Anthony's popcorn, which has an amazing taste. I also purchased a small vacuum that can become a hand held vacuum. It is very light weight, but has a powerful suction (easy enough for me to handle on my worst health days.) I concur! Have a French press that’s 24 years old and keeps making great coffee. Standing in line with a friend at an event and she broke an acrylic nail, badly. It was painful and she was desperate to remove the broken part, but didn’t want to lose her place in line. I pulled out my Swiss Army Knife and performed an emergency operation, good to go! Have my Nonno’s cast-iron skillet that will outlive me and every time I cook in it, it’s made with a touch of his love.❤

The popcorn maker. I use a crank one on the stove and it’s just such a headache with the oil, not burning it, etc. I was thinking of an air popper which I had many years ago but I remember it being so dry. You saying that you can add butter makes me think I should give it a try again. Thanks!

I have most these and they are great, don't have an electric throw though, that sounds nice!! We have used a French press for years, although having broken several glass ones we bought a stainless steel version, Bingo!! It comes everywhere with us! It is now many years old and as you say makes the best coffee! Lisa, can you explain about the cast iron pans? Do they need to get washed with soap and water after every use? I've never understood this (or had a pan like it). Thank you. :-)

Before you use it for the first time it needs to be seasoned with oil...rub it on the pan and put in the oven at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Then to clean it usually just hot water and a bit of salt for abrasion to get off any stuck on food then dry it well...then every now and again I might rub oil into the pan again re-season it if it needs it :)

Get a stainless steel French press! You will break the glass carafe. Stainless steel lasts forever. I use mine every day
