So entertaining watching these 2 guys play. I like Serral a bit more, but just look at Byun, what a brilliant play. I think these 2, while being tense, are having a great time playing with each other - it is particularly hard to find a proper opponent to spar with for people as high level as these 2.

it is actually a lie. while friendly fire definetly did something, the broodlords actually did the bulk of the damage. Serral had them almost fully upgraded and if you pay attention you can see that the broodlings landing did more dmg than the siege tanks friendly firering.

But the Zerg dominance extend much further than that, had a Terran or Protoss won Blizzcon or IEM last year, none of this complain will be an issue. Even this year, like 6 out of 9 winners of Global tournament are Zerg, which Serral won 2. Its one thing to say one guy carry a race and win everything, its another thing that race won with different players. And I absolutely have no problem with that to be honest, no balance whining,

If ByuN had spent the same minerals on Marines that he wasted on missile turrets, everything would've been very different. Marines may not be the best Brood Lord counter, but you can build 3 of them for each missile turret that was getting instakilled without doing anything.

A bigger bank means shit if you are not trading against the opponent army, and it would only show the advatage AFTER Zerg is remax while Terran base is dried. Serral has the bigger bank, but he was unwilling to trade inefficient into Terran army. Instead he went with the more efficient units, which take MORE time to build up and switch to. Stop saying its OP when you dont know SHIT about the game.

If anything Serral had more impressive micro towards the end. Stutter stepping Infestors and Broodlords, keeping Vipers safe/useful, and transfusing, all while having to keep up the hydra/ling harassment and the injections. The real problem is that the tanks stayed sieged for so long after broods were shown. He kept killing ghosts through friendly fire.

In high level SC the APM is one of the most crucial resource that they have to manage. This is why runbys are so powerful. They take lot less attention to set up, than to defend them. Its a good way to tax the opponents APM before or during a critical fight.

It's a weird term the first time you hear it, but it's actually the best way to describe it. Players all have only so many APM they can make, and they have to figure out how they spend them. You can only "afford" so many actions in any given minute.
