Serval is on my ‘Need to Build’ list since I have her E6, and any character at that level is worth building. Hook is also on there depending if I win the 50/50 or not. Hope they make more 4 Star Destruction units since I have like 100 blue mats for it but no one to build.

TLDR: Healing on Destruction path runs is not actually that bad, just needs to be planned around sometimes. Just to clarify something for people who already/want to run Destrucion in SU, no you don't NEED to be below 50% HP all the time, that's only if you take Non-Inverse Antimatter Equation (NIAE) that you get free Fighting Spirit when below 50%. Fighting Spirit only accumulates when you get hit/lose HP, healing can actually help destruction if you purposly skip the free FS blessing. But even if you do take it and have some healing, it's not the worst thing you could have happen in your run, and enhanced Non-Inverse gives 2 extra stacks for every 10% further HP lost. And there's also Universal Heat Death which gives FS when hit or losing HP and 1 stack to adjacent allies when enhanced. Really the make or break of a Destruction run is if you can generate FS stacks or not, if you can then you're set. If not, then something's wrong with SU and you should probably ask Herta what's wrong with it.

I love Serval and was the first character I started building but I prefer a break build on her when going against lightning weak. Her break shock dots are insane and she can extend them with ULT (unique to her). Her and Kafka together are ridiculous since Kakfa can retrigger those insane break dots. I only have E4 but one day I'll get E6. I really want to get her free copy to go to E5 but Pela would be great too for E4 and Jingliu

I've been contemplating running my Serval with break effect, max speed, ER rope, and S5 Passkey to pair with Kafka, for the sole purpose of spamming her ult to extend lightning break dots so my Kafka can keep retriggering them. It's a stupid idea, but it's funny and I'm really itching to try it out lol

E6 Serval is indeed a beast, I soloed MoC 10 first half with her last night, hella fun. I'm in the same boat as you. I skipped Jing Yuan and Kafka and rely on my Serval in lightning weak fights. I run her on 4 pc Thief though and her breaks are PAINFUL. But mostly it's the fact that stacking crit/atk on her and just cycling ults endlessly allows her to output sick damage.

I missed Fu Xuan and am really really regretting not pushing harder to get her. Don't get me wrong, I love having Jingliu, but it feels like the defensive supports are way more valuable at this point.

you only need an E2 Serval for her to get a lot of energy regen, which is very doable keeping in mind you get a free one at the start of the game. On the correct settup she can produce so much energy, she can ult on her turn, to a skill and immediately ult out of her skill, ulting twice on the same turn, this being outside of SU, I've pulled it off in some MoC runs. But even than with her an ER rope she can get her ult every other turn with just a basic and a skill, making her really SP friendly and nice to use. I've found her amazing to use throughout the entire game, she can break lighting shields at an astonishing rate! She might not do much frontal damage, but the total dps she pushes out per cycle is insane.
