I saw some messages from haters, Hey dudes if you had never lived with problems you can't judge what an animal can do for helping veterans and sick people, go and try to be invited for a day with a service dog and a veteran, maybe you will learn something important you can't find in books or with a Dc. answers always find the way true

There is NO evidence these dogs work as a treatment for mental illness. They soothe egos in all the same ways and for all the same reasons ownong a slave or doing heroin would They are dangerous and encourage degenerate narcissism and delusion.

@Lost Hero These drug-dogs provide no service other than to drag their owners further into mental illness. They would literally be better off addicted to alcohol.

The rights and needs of survivors of dog attacks and of those whose loved ones have been killed by dogs also need to be respected. No dog must ever be allowed to "check" a room off leash. This is illegal throughout the country and deeply cruel to survivors of dog killing and maiming. And, there is no evidence that addicting someone struggling with mental illness to a dog is health-promoting. There are numerous similarities between the use of dogs for narcissistic soothing and other forms of negative coping, such as drug abuse. Certainly, a similar level of selfishness is seen in dog users (and dog pushers.) I've not once seen anyone in any of these bizarre, scientifcally baseless programs acknowledge the right of all people to never have to be around a dog. These animals are not bred and vetted for extreme docility the way legitimate service dogs are; many have maimed and killed both legitimate service dogs and human beings. Mentally ill vets deserve real therapy that will restore them to full humanity, not to be exploited by dog pushers seeking to keep them forever addicted to a childish, subhuman level of attention from a dumb animal only, ever, interested in food and nothing else. These animals are not capable of "love," and pretending they are is a sin against these vets who remain mentally ill and are denied legitimate therapy, and the millions of people maimed and killed by dogs over and over and over every day. This video is obscene. The UMC should be fighting against these cruel, destructive lies, not endorsing them.

I dont know about this particular program, but most PTSD service dogs are trained to check out empty rooms in the handlers own home, not run around in public, that would be useless as the dog is ascertaining if anyone is there, obviously in public there are people there. Additionally, service dogs are never aggressive towards anything, no matter what, they cant be due to the public nature of their job, any aggression is immediate grounds for washing a dog from work permanently, no exceptions. You could come at me with a knife and my dog should merely look at you or possibly block you by placing her body between you and me, thats it. They just tell the handler the coast is clear, they dont come into contact with any other human who may be there, their not police k9s. Think of them more like always having a human there to scout out ahead and have a second pair of eyes, that human shouldnt be there to attavk any other people either. Im sorry if you or someone you know has been attacked or killed by a dog but telling others they cant have service dogs is like someone like me saying that no white men can go into public because Ive been attacked by them. Ive got my own psych problems but I have no right for my own problems to interfere with others
