Love it. I have a 328 myself that I bought 12 months ago and love it so much - restoring it like you - but with more help from a garage than you :-) Been doing a bit each month - spark plugs and maf are actually next for me. Did the air / cabin filters / oil ect when I first bought it. Got the intake boots in hand, but haven't got round to it yet. Restored the headlights 2 months ago. Had a;; new brakes / discs / shocks & struts about 6 months ago. Final things I want to do sometime next year are the engine mounts and other bushings along with guibo + universal joints then all done :-) Mine only has 74K miles, so worth keeping xxx Will keep an eye on your future vids - subbed

@@TheBimmerBarn I'm hoping that buy the time it's 100K miles (around 5 years more for me :-)) it'll be worth a decent amount. I'll then get a Mercedes W124 if there's still any decent ones left lol - they're so cool

Great video, got an E46 couple years back, very similar but failed MD inspection on brake lines: Said they needed to be replaced. was told too expensive due to mechanic time needed to access them: dropping entire chassis etc, any thoughts?

I would have changed them if the car was nice! You can do it for cheap using brake lines from the hardware store, or going to a junkyard and pulling them yourself. Or buy from the dealer. Be careful buying Northern cars!🥶

Let me ask you another question, my son and I are thinking of getting a beamer to fix up but we're not so fussy about switch model, between E36, E46 and maybe E39, is the one that works better, easier to get back to normality? @@maurecara6908 E36 definitely cheapest to keep running and driving, as it has the least amount of electronics. E46 and e39 are similar in electronics, but when it comes to suspension, more expensive on the e39. So probably the E46 would be a good project!
