Damn you play this game on a vhs ? Why does it look a ps2 game ?

It runs at damn near 240p resolution. And it's built with the horribly inefficient stock version of Unreal Engine 4 for Switch. Some UE4 games run well on Switch but those are made by huge studios that do a ton of coding work on the engine to optimize it. The studio that makes session is tiny.

I have been playing it more here and there and i will say it is growing on me!! I will prob do a reflection video in a few months on it.

Yeah, pc player here, I like ea skate for mindless smooth fun, i like skater xl for something more tech but still mindless and i LOVE session for how good it looks and how hard it is when i land a trick. Session is like the dark souls of skating games. If you put in the time, it becomes the GOAT. The learning curve is STEEP but once it clicks it translates to the other skate games really well.

Bro, you are playing the incorrect version. Either current-gen consoles and PC are the only platforms worth playing this on. I've spent around 430 hours with the game since 2023. It's a SUPER difficult game, but the difficulty curve heavily outweighs the glitches and bugs of the NON-SWITCH versions of the game. The game is super rewarding once you learn the ropes(and are playing the game on modern hardware).

I might do an update video in a few months on it esp if it gets a Switch 2 version because the more i play it the more it is growing on me even on the switch! Control and setting wise it is the most realistic switch Skating game i have ever played.

I have fun with it on Switch but getting used to it on PC first helped a lot to enjoy the experience.

@spht9ng I can definitely see that being a thing. Being able to play Session on the go is a nice thing to be able to do.

@ Im starting to think i was wrong on this one, This game is difficult but not bad at all i just have to git gud as Ab Lincoln once said

@ I'm not gonna lie it's way harder on switch! no analog trigger control makes it way harder to control turns and the framerate is like 25 fps at best with the graphics looking so fizzly.
