Thank you for creating this. Honestly I've always used KZbin videos to learn content for online courses. Having ones made direct for what I am studying is a life saver!

Katherine O'B. MGF1106 F9:30 I'm glad you showed a written example of a natural number greater than 60 and how to correctly answer it. If I saw this on a test without watching your video I would have gotten it wrong. This video helped me to realize I need to slow down and re-read what the question is asking of me instead of racing through it. You also clearly explained the difference between finite and infinite. Thank you, Prof. Hearn.

Jenn Kral. ( MGF 1106 F9:30) - Thanks Prof. Hearn. I learned that even though the numbers in the set were whole numbers, because the set ended with the ..., it did not count as a whole number, therefor making it it infinite.

Caila Davis (MGF1106 F930) Every Friday 9:30-10:45 After watching the video I learned that just because a set has an ellipsis does not mean that the set is infinite.Knowing this will help me be prepared for Test 1

Estera Lador (MGF1106 F930) Thank you so much for helping me understand these terms! Seeing the examples really did help me a lot. One thing I learned while watching this video was, how to tell the differece between an finite & infinite number and WHY it was finite or infinite. When I see this on the test, it will help me pick the right answer because of the explination and examples. These terms are short and simple, but it's only simple if you understand it!

Kevin White (MGF1106 F930) Friday 9:30 to 10:45 After watching this video I learned if a set has no particularly whole number than it is infinite and if it is a whole number in the set it is finite. Thank you professor Hearn for the great lesson!

Shameeza M. MGF1106 F 9:30 Before going over this in class and watching the video I didn't know the difference between a finite and infinite set. To remember the definitions I think of infinity for infinite since there is no particular whole number and finite which is the opposite would mean the number of elements is a whole number.

Valentina amaya MGF1106 9:30am I learned that a set with no numbers in it is called a null set as well as when their are dots in the set it means you have to find the number that can fill in or replace those dots. This will help me for the ch. 2-3 test because when a problems comes up that is similar I will be able to know how to solve it.

Andrea Castillo MGF1106 f930 Thanks to this video I understood that if for example my set is {1,2,3,4,...,13,14} my cardinality is 6 and not 14 because there is only 6 written numbers in my set.

Marcela Munoz (MGF1106 F930) Hi Prof Hern, thanks for the explanation now it is clear that even if the det is composed of whle numbers if there is not a whole number that gives us the quantity of elements it cannot be named as a whole number because infinite is not a whole number
