Excellent info Red. I've really never taken the time to investigate what else can be done in the software, and this is usable information. This is appreciated. You know, there is one thing That's always been on my mind regarding the Virpil software. I've always wanted to figure out a way how I can move in relationship with an object that is out of control. I know this is really crazy however I've always been fascinated with being able to geosynchronous align myself and mirror their movements. This would look like both objects are still and a rescue could be performed. Call me crazy but this is something I'd like to figure out and if you're crazy enough to help with this I'd appreciate it. Most appreciated and good day sir. Wh1te (Mike)

Ok so it would really depend on the objects spin. If it's only spinning in 1 axis then sure it maybe can be done. But as soon as you add another axis in there it's all going to shit and you probably be safer trying to stop the object somehow, perhaps with a few nudges. There is a bind in the game called "match target velocity". I've never tried it but if it works that would mean we could get the relative speed in a direction figured out pretty quickly if the object is still moving away from you. I've had a look around specifically for being able to assign a virtual trim to several axis at once. This would allow you to lock in a rotation and then just carefully add more or less rotation to match the object your chasing. The best I could find was this plugin for joystick gremlin. Now to clarify I haven't tried this so please be very careful when using 3rd party plugins and blah blah blah etc. Good luck and happy rescuing people from ridiculously precarious predicaments o7. www.reddit.com/r/starcitizen/s/mT6nGLpArx Ps. It's probably easier to just build yourself a whole ass TARS though 😉

@@Reds_Resort thanks for the reply Red and the indepth context and advice. As nutty as it sounds. I've purposely created those scenarios to where an object is rotating on all axis points, and I can usually maintain them (which take time and is extremely difficult). That said, If there was a way to create a temporary hold to all axis's applied. I believe the problem would be solved. If this makes any sense at all. Something about boarding to explore or rescuing someone in a scenario to where physically stopping the object isn't an option drives that competitive person within me to figure out. Love your content and keep them coming. Hope to see you in the verse. Wh1te (Mike)

@@Wh1terider actually before you go away and start testing things. I've just realised this won't work. Since MM I've not been able to set cruise control and leave my seat. So there may be no way to keep moving whilst out of the pilot chair. I believe this to be unintended though and hopefully it will be added back in. So it would defo not be a solo operation at least for the time being.

Managed to get B1 to change from green to red however, when I tried to do the same to B2 it turned B1 green and red...dunno why if I can do it to B1 then the others should be good too. I must be missing sometheing fundamental...gaslighting myself lol
