Note to save yourself head and arm ache: There is a wiring harness on the driver side above the fascia that will not let you line the hitch up with the holes. You have to detach it from the plastic (I used a pry tool and hands) and leave it hanging above the hitch in order to install this U-Haul shows how to do this in their hitch installation video on KZbin

I have a 2025 crv and planing on getting a hitch but I don’t want to lose my power liftgate feature planning I getting it done at U-haul

The hitch won't prevent the hands free liftgate feature from working. You'll just need to wave your foot to one side or the other of the hitch opening and the sensors will pick up the movement and open the liftgate.
