I can’t help but wonder, if the reason why embedded journalists aren’t reporting on the finer details of combat, is because it’s being squashed by command officers whilst they’re in the field, or if they just don’t care enough to give the details…🤔 P.S. excellent work by Jack and Seth, thanks for sharing.

Bc embedded don't see the entire picture and if report's don't make them officer's happy you don't come back. 😊

Some of these dudes lives are out of this world. Like some sh out of a movie. A crazy movie. Of the more wild ones id say of the few i know they were turned up long before enlistment. A couple of them so much so that i believe joining up kept from them going down a path of early self destruction. these crunk @55 πF were born for special operations. They shine under the stress with which they operate. Most of them made it through selection easier than theyll say. And can do DA missions as well as building forces with local peoples behind enemy lines. Spending months years deploying in foreign countries learning cultures and languages. Then when they're back home sometimes it doesn't go smoothly. Probably why many immediately work out some kind of contract or agreement with a security company or para group or CIA or shadow groups that the public will never see or hear about other than rumors.
