I didn't know it came out in 2007 nor did I know it was set in the early 2000s I watched it cause I'd watched every other DVD in the house I was told nothing about it my guardian just walked in the room said "You're watching superbad?" 🙂🤣and just laughed his head off while he walked out the room. Did not stop even after he left and still not one world. Now I totally get that. I rewatched it and rewatched it and I stopped counting after the 8th time that day. I often hear directors/producers talk about how finding the right people for roles and just trusting that they will bring the performances they want, often far beyond what they expected. While obviously movies are highly complex, casting seems like one of the cornerstones of good movies. Whether it's the start of an unbelievable career, or they are bringing on a veteran actor, if the movie is good it has to be the right actors for the role. Some actors are chameleons, like Heath Ledger where you can barely recognize them. You would never believe that he's the same actor in "A Knights Tale," "Brokeback Mountain," or when he plays, "The Joker." His voice, mannerisms, its all radically different.
