No offense (well maybe a little) but "my boy" for a character who has come out of nowhere, has little to no significance, has a polarizing gimmicky playstyle (not saying its bad so calm down), i swear some of you would adopt a feral raccoon if it looked nice from a certain angle.

I really love Sethos's character and his voicelines. Thanks for this guide, Genshin is meant to be played to be enjoyed, overworld difficulty isn't hard at all and anyone can play the characters they like. Unfortunately I only got him c0 and ended up with a c7 Thoma

I was pleasantly surprised by his personality and quips, seems charismatic and yet mysterious, he's interesting and wish there were more characters with even more uniqueness or contrasting aspects. I agree, we can like characters without overworld being the sum of their worth Thoma really came through to say "nah this is my banner" for so many of us xD

And its good for a community to acknowledge a mid or bad kit like Dehya, Sethos and Amber. And its incredibly annoying how people will get so defensive over them. Its arguing for the sake of arguing and is called toxic positivity.

I have to thank you for not absolutely trashing this man. Im gonna be honest, i had no intention for pulling him but his mix of unique gamplay and flexible teams really did it for me. Of course i dont expect you to speak on this cause you have relationships with other youtubers in the same field of you, but most of them go out of their way to make his shortcomings bigger than they actually are. His energy issues are designed to be that way, so thats why you need to build around making sure its sufficient enough. If characters didnt have downsides then theyd be boring. The fun of sethos is his downsides, it offers a unique playstyle and team building options, it even makes some lesser used characters like dori better since she can funnel energy to him

Yea. This is the main reason I find 4 stars to be more fun to use than 5 stars. The game is just more fun when you have weaknesses and challenges to navigate. Older 5 stars is more fun as well, as they're designed with more pronounced weaknesses than the newer 5 stars.

@@bskilla4892Gaming is incredible and I love him sm, but he doesn’t get secret 5* level until C6. People often recommend not building him before C6 unless you really love him and can’t wait. Sethos’s upper damage isn’t unlocked with his cons. They’re good constellations that help him with his energy management! But he’s strong without them

First time we've seen energy management on a character, so it could be nice if it got elaborated on a 5 star with an 80 energy burst that benefits differently if it's under or over 50%

I've been wanting Sethos ever since he was drip marketed. I knew nothing about him except that he looked like Claude Fire Emblem (my fave 3H lord), and I wanted him bc of that. His role and personality in Cyno's 2nd story quest made me love him. And now finally being able to play him makes me super happy! I LOVE his playstyle. I can't wait to get him fully maxed (holding off so I can have something to use for the weekly 500k mora bp goal). I gave him the Windblume Ode for his weapon (since it buffs his atk and he already has a lot of EM from his artifacts and weapon). It balances out his build. I'm happy that weapon finally has a use

In my opinion, Sethos is the 2nd best 4* main/on field DPS, between Gaming and Noelle, and it's great that he is much less dependent on his C6 compared to those two. Assuming all 3 are at C6, he is probably closer to Noelle in strength. C6 Gaming is competitive with many C2 *5 Main DPS units while Sethos is not. Still, I'm happy that Hoyoverse is releasing 4* main DPS units that are lackluster, and I hope this is the start of a new trend.

Same here. I wasn't too sure if I'd level him up when in1st pulled him, but decided to go ahead and give him a chance. Just finally got him leveled up to the point he's ready to throw into a team and try him out. I really like that he's got such a unique play style which seperates him from just being another bow character. Now that I'm done with the video, time to go try him out!

I really enjoy his kit, after I understood that I needed to create elemental reactions to use his faster load of shooting its pretty easy.And if I want to play his burst but also play more of the other characters I can, I just go back to him to use his e and then repeat until his burst is ready. Is he powerful? no, but you can make him strong.

Fell in love with this young man after pulling him and listening to his introduction. He sounded so friendly and cheerful. At first I wasn't planning on pulling for him cuz I have trouble building bow characters since I only have limited weapons for a F2P player but when I didn't expect for him to come home I fell in love with him that I immediately started farming his ascension materials. For now I'm using Amos Bow on him and I use him with Shinobu since she's the only Electro character whom I frequently use and is built well.

Thanks for vid, Ms.Sevy! Though Sethos has two playstyles, both can be done together too if Electro MC is teamed with him. With the Energy amulet supplies, the range-hitting Burst and its Electro Res Shred debuff, Electro MC is a great support for Sethos. I didn't get C2 Sethos, but worked around it with 4pc-Petra set, and he's currently equipped with Fading Twilight bow (for fashion+function).

Honestly to me it feels lime he is anti-synergistic with himself. Every part of his kit is cool, but half his kit is built around his burst and the other half around never having it up. It feels like he’s at odds with himself. At least Xilonen C2’s electro passive should help him probably more than any other character.

Hi Sevy! I wonder if you know if it's intentional that Sethos' level 2 charge attack doesn't trigger weak spots like a ruin guard's eye? I tried writing feedback but CS doesn't seem to get what my issue is. Other archers with level 2 charge attacks like Yelan, Tighnari etc could trigger them before.

Sniped Sethos from Clorinde's banner, and he's been super fun to play :D Have been running him in the friendship team of Dehya-Layla-Nahida, and it's been enjoyable. (Talking about the game process here, not about the Floor 12 efficiency :D) I have a question though. Can Sethos hit the crit spots of the ruin machines? Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but his lvl2 shots seem to, well, pierce through the crit spots instead of hitting them (and he seems to always have the energy to spare, so the first few shots instantly go to lvl2, and I cannot consistently get lvl1 shots on demand :'D Suffering from success).
