Use rubbing alcohol to get hot glue unstuck from just about everything in 2 seconds just a useful tip id share :)

@@lukefarrell117 It can damage some plastic compounds, but usually only with prolonged exposure. As long as you aren't letting it sit for a prolonged amount of time it should be fine.

Exposure make the best performing AND most reliable bike lights bar none, worldwide. Bad luck a solder joint broke after some seth style use, no company/manufacture is perfect...but what stands above other companies is the absolutely no quibble 'we will fix it' attitude to ALL customers. Taking aside likely other damage caused by Seths experimental disassembly, that light will outlive Seth!

I feel you on the "All I had to do was push the battery out thing." I was working on an office chair that had a lean in it, and I spent hours trying to pull the base off, including trying to loosen it with a rubber mallet. Then I had the same "I wonder" moment and struck the bit of the chair poking through the base and it came out in two hits.
