Seting up american dns codes on my ps3 part 1

i just changed my DNS to the numbers you provided and it worked!! since the app update on april 17th i've been unable to stream us content. i tried many many different DNS codes and nothing worked. I will smoke a few bowls to celebrate in your honor kind sir. Thanks from Vancouver Island :D

Yea the codes that are on this vid are old and over used i have about ten working codes right now they were easy to find, all i do is google " american dns codes december 2013" and it was the first link and in january write January onviously, and dont make a video with the codes on it because thousands of people will use them and the codes slowly slow down then stop working

Oh and for iphones it only works on wifi, if you leave the wifi zone you will only have access to canadian netflix because you cant change the dns codes on the cellular data but when you get back to your wifi zone it will go back to americanized netflix.

Try re installing netflix, it should work, if your trying on the computer though it only works with windows 8 where netflix is an app

Paul vivian, tell me what happens when you try it, because a week ago i was getting an error message so i called netflix and it was just a problem with netflix but they fixed it over the phone, btw this isnt illegal and also works on iphones/pods/pads

Hey evan try setting the dns settings back to automatic and then save and test and if it works then change the dns setting back to manual (the numbers you entered will still be there) and save and test again and if that doesnt work turn off your ps3 and go to your router and unplug it for 30 seconds and plug it back in and wait until all the lights are how they are supposed to be and then turn your ps3 on and do a connection test again and it should work, if not let me know and illl help you

1999beachboy, unfortunately the codes only work for windows 8 and ps3s and xboxs and wiis and iphones/pods etc, but doesnt work on older versions of windows, it only works on netflix apps and doesnt work on the netflix website, does that make sence? If not, im sorry i tried my best for now im going to sleep. If you want to set it up on your computer and have windows 8 i can help you

No it wont change your ip but it wont mess with yours either, it doesnt change your internet it just changes how your ps3 sees the internet if that makes sense

Google 'american dns codes as of april 3/13 and just look through random blog sites and stuff, i only had to look for new ones once and the first one i used lasted for a long time

No it doesnt have to be wired, the EXACT same steps apply for wireless settings as well, choose custom>wireless>scan> then choose your SSID then input the password then after that its just like the video, ill post one of a wireless setup if you really need it

Maybe do a psn update to 4.41 or whatever because there was a recent update a few days ago, that should be the issue, if you dont know how to update the ps3 just let me know and ill tell you

I noticed this video only shows you how to do this with a wired connection, if you want me to make a video to show how to do it with a wireless connection let me know, its the same, the only difference is you chose your router and input the password and then continue the steps on the video

Lol at cian and cameron, you guys are little bitches haha, this video is pretty old by now so these codes probably are getting slow because 19000 people watched this vid and used the codes and it works, you just have to find new codes on your own, maybe ask your mom or dad to look them up for you. This video just shows you how to input the codes, when they stop working its up to you to find your own codes, read my previous comments to learn how to find new codes.
