I'm so glad you've moved yourself UP the priority list, Darlene! There's an old expression, "Aint mama happy, aint nobody happy." It all starts with taking care of YOU, and then you have the strength to take care of others. Linus at the beginning of the video was absolutely adorable, hanging on your every word! How I would love a little buddy like him! I think I might have an idea to keep your backpacks out of harms' way [Hunter, lol]. How about install some sturdy coat hooks, and hang them up? Just an idea. Also, I was wondering if you think it might be handy to write you fridge list with an erasable pen; then when you use an item, you can just erase it off? Again, just brainstorming with you : ) And HOW EXCITING to be renovating your kitchen!! These days with all of our slow cookers, air fryers, etc, you should be able to cook outside fairly easily during the reno. Can't wait for the big reveal at the end of the year! P.S. Don't ever apologize for your tears...that's why we're all here...because you're real and relatable; and we love you

Hello Darlene, you are so authentic. I love that that you are so deep and natural. I am a mother with three boys, two with autism. I have had my own thyroid illness when they were born. I had to take care of myself first because the doctor told me I would be in the hospital for my future and die in 20 years. I jumped on the opportunity to learn how to heal. I went to a professional doctor in Florida and had surgery and then I learned to clean my families food intake. I had been feeding my sons white food. The hidden problem to their autism. We cleaned the water by freezing and distilling our water and flushing the toxins out of our bodies. We used Zeolite to remove the toxicities and Wild cherry bark extract to help with brain fog. It helped my children start to talk and interact with us. It is a long and stressful process, but it is successful. Autistic children have a harder time processing metals and other things in their bodies due to the body digestive process. It was a lot to learn. I also learned these children are a gift from GOD and have extra sensory that are needed for what is to come. I learned to embrace this idea and help them to develop what they have to offer in this world. They are of a higher vibration, and we are a lower vibration. Soon the world will be lifting our vibration to match theirs. So there is something to all these disabilities. I know it is hard but know you play a part in bring these worlds together. You are a wonderful person, and it shows on your videos. Hang in there. This is why I love watching your channel. We help each other grow. Your family is special. Always take care of yourself, you need that health to help everyone else. 🥰❤🩹❤🩹❤🩹☺

LOL THat is so dang funny!! No shoes! No paper!! You are so funny ! Altho, i have to say … that is a fine pad of paper you got there! Hehe 😂 You have totally influenced me in the note taking for inventory stuffs. i have to say that my freezer meal lasagna came in handy last week. Out of nowhere, 4 family members (and grandson) showed up at my door- pulled out the lasagna made at the end of December. Threw a salad together and Whew! I was sooo thankful!! (Especially after having surgery that same day…ugh). I just wish i had a freezer in the garage. Oh, Darlene… i feel you ! Life challenges .. so difficult right now. I have had such a horrible 2025 already, and we have 49 weeks to go. I can so relate to your tears. I soooo appreciate the snow takes and the landscape, the snow in the back yard.. Linus telling you he’s going to escape.. hehe. It cheers me up so much. 😊 love you girl!

Your hair is always nice up. I found a video where they did a messy bun splitting the hair in two ponys, one on top of the other, bottom and top are then tucked somehow. It’s a bit extra yet really nice too. I want to type this again: your experiences are similar in timing/expectations to mine. I listen. I learn and I am grateful for your information and sharing. January for me is personal health care. I need to be first for a while. This is the plan.

No need to apologize for your tears. It’s good to release your feelings sometimes. And we understand. I’m so glad for the time you realized you needed to take care of YOU. We all need that reminder, and I think you’re doing great! You seem so much more relaxed, and you seem to have a plan and goal not only for 2025, but your fall into the Christmas season…you had it all together and enjoyed it! You was not rushed, you had a plan and followed it and everything went so smoothly! I admire that. Thank you so much for sharing this journey. You are so motivating!!!

2025 is the time to take perfection out of your vocabulary even if it’s bread and messy buns, do things because it makes you happy. Striving for perfection in any manner strips us of the joy of learning and experiencing all the aspects of life! Be kind to yourself and do things that give you joy. Life is hard and you’ve had a lot thrown at you. While your responsibilities are important remember that finding your joy only helps in managing your relationships. ❤

You are a great Mom, Daughter, wife, and content creator! I always love your videos. You are real, and many of us have the same feelings and pain. The pandemic started it for most of us. I had lost my Mom in Jan of 2019. I was already sad about that but thankful she didn't have to go through that time in assisted living. I, also, lost my brother-in-law( my sister’s husband)six months after my Mom. Then in 2021, my (47 yr old) son passed unexpectedly. I lost my only sibling in 2022. With my parents and sibling gone, you really lose a part of yourself. I, too, am an emotional junk food eater! So I soooo get that!! I am so thankful for my daughter and my husband. I would probably just hibernate my life away if not for them. And most importantly my faith in Jesus Christ. He is my strength from day to day. Were it not for His love for me, my church family and those who have prayed me through these last years, not sure I would have survived any of it. Holidays seem to get harder every year. When I have had 10 or more for meals, now just 4, it is so hard. We all just have to take a day at a time and do the very best we can with it. Thanks for listening and know you are not alone!! We can make 2025 better.

January challenge: He's not buying any new shoes and you aren't buying any new pads of paper. I laughed out loud at that! The day I put all my paper in one spot was an eye-opener for me. I filled up two bankers boxes! TWO. Thanks for the video. It's a particularly good one, especially the last few minutes.

The world has changed since the pandemic and not for the better. All we can do is keep trying to be the best we can be. Some days are harder than others. You are doing a great job for everyone in your family and I am happy to see you also focusing on yourself. As mothers we tend to put ourselves last. I completely understand what you are going through with your mom. My mom has dementia and it is a very strange reality when looking at a familiar face but talking to a stranger. However we love them the same. Sending hugs and good vibes your way.

I find taking a walk by myself, it sure helps clear our minds. ❤ Big hugs 🫂 I was crying with you. ❤ U feel your pain because I was very hard on myself, too. Give yourself grace, we are human. ❤ We are lucky to have supportive husbands.
