Hey! Fab wee vlog and the otters were so cute! Good luck with the job it's so difficult managing art on the side while working full time. I try to prioritise it on my days of and do the boring adult things before or after my shift at work. I've just started learning to crotchet too and making a blanket. I'd love to make some flower granny squares now!

Loved the video, Nicky, especially using Promarkers for the life class 👍🏻and the otter, obvs ❤ As for your question a out how I fit art into my busy life... I am a home school mama, that is my full time job. Basically I never get a day off. Its wonderful though, I wouldn't have things any other way. However, I'd just graduated from art school when I found out I was pregnant, so my intended art career never really went anywhere. I still do my art and treat it as work. I post on Instagram and have a Substack newsletter. Then last year my mum passed away and I've been dealing with everything that brought with it, which was massive and is still ongoing. I don't make things easy for myself, and this year I've already crammed a 9 module course to train as an art life coach. My second course, to complement the first one, as a spiritual coach is just about to start too. My intention is to use my background in art and my interest in wellness to help people improve their lives through creativity (that's the plan anyway!).

So sorry to hear about your mum :( being a full time home school parent must be so hard as you can’t fully switch off from work. It sounds like you’re making it work and have great aspirations though! Good luck with it all and let me know how you get on with it! 💕

juggling that wirk life balance is a pain, but we can do this! It’s like my brain wants future me to be sociable and outgoing but forgets that I will still be the same me once the time comes 😂 I always thank myself tho so it’s gotta be worth the anxiety haha! Yes for sure rest is one thing I’m terrible at doing 🤦🏻‍♀️ we got this 💪🏻💪🏻
