I could have pinched a 16d nail in half watching you guys. That's a man-lift and not intended to be lifting anything. As usual you guys made it work and I'm so glad you did. Looking forward to seeing phase 2 and hope it goes better for you than the 1st.

The bolt should be from the inside not from the outside because when you gona fix the wall or bord on the standing pillere you will have to cut the extra nut so if you put the 🔩 bolt from the inside of the iron frame that will be easy

Not hating...I think you would have best served by driving all the way to the further posts to put up your first rafter. At that point, subsequent rafter would be easier to reach. Whatcha think? Like the content. Been watching since shed to house with Jared in Texas. Good luck guys!

Wow, you're lucky you didn't kill anyone. Man lifts are people not to be used as a crane. Your rigging doesn't look like overhead lifting straps, they look like ratchet straps, a big no no and giving up your 5 times safety factor. And your angles on your rigging was close to or below 30 degrees in the beginning which can put so much force on a piece of rigging that it can literally pull it apart. You probably shouldn't be showing anyone what you do.

Where did you get steel trusses? I searched for months for someone who would sell me steel trusses without stamped engineering drawings and could not find anyone to do it so I ended up changing my entire house plan. I had planned on a cement first floor over a partial basement and couldn't do it. I also wanted a cement flat roof for a roof-top garden but couldn't do that either.

Total wrong machine to do the lifting. You needed a boom forklift and the man lift to do your work out of. Hopefully the lifting didn’t bust anything on the boom lift. Those aren’t made to lift.
@TheCrockers

I've seen many videos of people using these. And they're rated at almost 600 pounds of lift. These are no where near that
@SleazyTrain
@SleazyTrain Ай бұрын
@@TheCrockersright they are able to lift some weight. The 600 lbs is usually a glazing kit or something to put in big windows. I don’t believe they are designed to lift materials like a crane. If you do this again get a shooting boom forklift. It will be a lot easier to manipulate the materials.
