Whats Red on Red, and Red all over? Yet another Lindsay Adler masterpiece.🙂 Thanks Lindsay, love the video and great finished result. Question, why do you need the rim light so high? Is it to get the wrap around on the collar bone? I wonder if a celling bounce would work if conditions allow.

Great beautiful photo! One question: would you get the same results with increasing all the strobes by factor of 4, and going with ISO 100? You also would not need the ND filter on the background strobe. Am I missing something?

Yes you could adjust camera settings but I was happy with where the settings were at, so it was actually much more simple to just slap a gel on!

fantastic photo! 2 questions; is there a difference between ND gels and color gels? and my background paper is attached to the wall; can I use a C-stand to place the light behind the model instead of behind the background paper?

ND gels are literally neutral gray-- so you'd have to buy that, yes. But the material is the same. if you put it behind the model you'd have to use a c-stand arm and counter weights or boom arms.
