Can you put a timer on the old sprout, seems like one could leave on and a walmart adjustable timer might work...old becomes new plus spinach needs less time anyways

They don't need a timer. They have a built-in timer. You could do that, but not really a reason to. All aerogardens have built-in timers. Sprout light is only 10w, so having it on longer is better.

I know they make an artisan version of the harvest. I guess I could Google this, but doesn't that version also come with the elite features?

There is no Artisan version of the Harvest. There was an Artisan version of the Bounty Elite, but they no longer make it.

What is the height of the lowest setting? I found a aerogarden elite 360 used. I just started a garden yesterday. However two things I started a lettuce garden but realized I put it as vegetable. Hopefully that is not an issue as well as your lowest setting looks shorter than my lowest setting.

If it has only been one day you can just go in the settings and change it to lettuce. That setting effects how long the light stays on per day and how long the pump runs. In the beginning when seeding, it is pretty much the same for all. It will automatically adjust after 2 weeks.

Also, the lowest and highest (12') height is standard on all Harvests including the 360s. I am not in front of it to measure.

When they are on sale you can get a really good deal! I have purchased all but one of mine on a good sale. They will probably have more sales coming up for Christmas, but you just missed a few. :)

I love your posts! Someone mentioned that you did not show how to set the start time. Maybe you can do an update to explain this part?

I sure can! I'll work on that this week. But, in the menu there is an option for start time. I set mine for 5am so that they all go off between 830 - 10pm.

when you first set up do you keep light on or off?

Hey there. The lights should be on. When you set up the garden it will automatically put the lights on a timer for the right time. :)
