I would suggest just filling the shelves with movies, regardless of type, and sort later. Just get those boxes empty and up in shelves. Figure out genres later. The space is more important than organized shelves right now.

Is the garage insulated for heat? Some homes the ceilings above the garage are not insulated. Wouldn’t want your stuff being ruined by the heat.

It sucks here in Florida with no basement!!! I use my second bathrooms tub for extra storage but then again we don’t have kids, so we don’t need 2 tubs!!!

Question/suggestion, for the items for you shop. Will those items fit on the shelves(out of the bins) that you are going to build in the laundry room/right across from the tool box? Maybe with some cabinet doors on the them too? That way you have a library type set up for those, and maybe some baskets/bins that fit to those shelves at the bottom for any toys/misc. items? #Annabell?

Looks great you need a projector in the loft (attic) that only plays old family Christmas videos 😅 lol . Glad you put the magnets on the switch box they look great . Had a humidity issue with my room recently blame old British flats for it 😅 . Definitely look more in the code i have no issues with mine though its in the uk #annabelle

It is starting to look like a library dude! Usually as long as you can reach the electric panel it should be fine. The wall could be used for posters as well just be careful where you drill obviously.

“Circuit breaker boxes must be installed at a minimum height of 4 feet and a maximum of 6 feet. They cannot be located in bathrooms and must be accessible without lifting or moving obstructions. They should have 3 feet of clearance and the doors should open 90 degrees without obstacles.” We have to keep all our boxes clear at work . We paint squares on the floor around them to remind people not to set them there. This being said my parents had me sleeping under ours for years in the house I grew up in haha!

you probably don't need or want the advice, but just be careful when screwing things into walls (your tv mount) near your breaker box, for fear of hitting anything electrical

If you were going for HOME THEATRE EXPERIENCE in the library, then painting it black would make sense. You're not, and the black would only make the library seem more claustrophobic. Seriously, having thousands of movies, and a way to display them is a pain in the ass. So, if you keep it that shade, and open up the space. The library should look great. And fucking #Annabelle. Brilliant.

Painting seems a lot of extra work... but you could always just paint that one wall, and make it like a 'feature' wall. Black would work, and cut down the brightness when you're playing anything on those TVs. Otherwise, something fun like a Blockbuster blue!

Why don't you start with the garage door so you can get your shelves up and start from there. And I would keep one of those shelves that down from the ceiling and store what you're going to sell and stuff like that and it until you get room for it

You need some storage rafters like you had in the old library where you can just put the stuff on to get out of the way. they have storage systems where you slide bins onto like a track on your ceiling of your garage. maybe that would be a good suggestion?

Oh well, looks like you found them anyway. 16:37 - I've probably mentioned this before, but that's a sweet marquee board. 21:37, any workers (or even yourself) have to have some access to the breaker box, you are going to have to move that television and entertainment center, just save yourself the grief later. Even if the code allows it, it's a safety hazard plain and simple in that current configuration. I know it's vital space, but I think you should find some other way. I'm not trying to be negative, I just don't want you to be caught in a further mess. Keep on trucking sir. On the outro, no...no painting. When in doubt, put up a movie poster. My two cents.
