Dude, I just watched your last video when you were in Chicago -- Old Orchard is 2 towns over from where I grew up! I'm fangirling so hard right now. Thank you for all you have taught me. I think I'm actually at the point of needing to create my own company. I never would have believed how much I'm enjoying this. Oh, and the first time I went to the Goodwill Outlet in Rockford, I was in complete agreement with your review. But I just went back on Friday and there was so much good stuff, my daughter and I decided to hit several smaller thrift stores in the area, and then we went back to the bins. Found even more great inventory before making the hour drive home. Thank you for sharing your time and knowledge with us.

Like you said , play it all by ear. The only suggestion I can give you is hire 1 or 2 full time eBay sellers. With the inventory you have access to you can't lose on the upside dollar volume potential. Worst case the extra income is equal to what you pay them to list and ship

Dont hire another venue, better to use storage units for pallets & keep a designated shop space in your warehouse. This will save you a load of hours shifting everything. Keep all your fixtures out, & when you get inventory unpack & restock shop ready for when you have the next sale. Monthly sales,that dont clash with flea markets would be good. 🌍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🌍

There is a local place that buys Amazon pallets, sorts about half of them and leaves about half palletized(is that a word?) and they sell the pallets wholesale during their weekend sales. It works pretty well for them. Just an idea since I know you already do wholesale maybe add some of your whole sale pallets to the sale and see if you can get them sold that way.

You could make a deal with Heather from Hooked on Pickin' for the clothes you say may have been "a bad buy" because they are not moving on Ebay - you could sell her a "liquidation" case/pallet and she could sell on Amazon or Posh Mark - she seems to have great success with clothes on Poshmark. Could be a great deal for both of you - you get rid on "volume" and make decent money and she gets product she can sell on a platform you don't use. Just a suggestion. ALSO - would like to suggest/request that you think of selling varied items/cases as liquidation to "NOVICE" resellers (EX: instead of hundreds/thousands of binders; or lawn mowers; or snow shovels; etc etc. - sell a small box of this or 5 shovels or 3 lawn mowers etc etc. - I am just TRYING to start in reselling and obviously can not AFFORD a large price ticket for case/pallet OR can not sell 500 binders or 2,000 ink pens or 10 lawn mowers etc.) You are a very smart business person and have the opportunity to buy THOUSANDS of items and/or THOUSANDS of items - (lack of WAREHOUSE type space and lack of HUGE bank account). PLEASE consider giving beginners a chance to get on out feet and GROW from grass roots to a bigger business. THANKS for all of your videos - they are great to watch and very instructive in so many ways. Keep them up as much as possible. If I lived closer (I am in OHIO), I would LOVE to work (even if temporary or reasonable wage without need of benefits) at your warehouse and organize and get on Ebay etc, to help you do all you want to/need to in order to do business.
@ResaleRabbit4 жыл бұрын
The problem with smaller lots is the shipping cost. Typically, it costs $350-600 to ship a pallet to a residence, so it really needs to be loaded up or the beginner reseller will be worse off than he or she started.
@ukbeeps4 жыл бұрын
Instead of setting up on tables try buckets and bins. Fragile and expensive stuff, under glass counters, yes you would need to hire staff to manage stuff and glass counters but sercuity would be better. CCTV would be a good idea even if it helps to point out the regular thief's at least you will get to know who they are. Good luck.
