Why do you need to turn ON the headset when you put it on the dock to charge? Usually you'd just turn the headphones off and dock them no?

Wait did I miss them plugging it into the Xbox and PS5? lol. Anyway, cautiously Optimistic for this headset! As a gen 3 a50 owner, watching the software and headband fiasco of the gen 4's made me lose a little faith, but seeing is uses G Hub (which works, could be better but eh it works), and then seeing that dude put it on his head and the band stayed in place is confidence boosting. Another plus was watching the a50x charge immediately on the base station without finger kung-fu like I do everytime with my Gen-3. Love the HDMI extracted audio too, solves the great optical audio crisis of Xbox series X/S. And multi Bluetooth too? Nice. The price is high, but if it delivers on its promises I'm definitely getting it. 🎉

I think this headset will have a lot more QA oversight because Logitech now owning Astro. I have a40 gen4 but if these end up being good I’ll definitely be picking these up the moment they come out along with some wicked cushions

Since the 3.5mm AUX input has been removed, will these still work with a dual PC setup?

Use a ground loop isolator. Use a 3.5mm cord to line in on one of your PCS. Connect the USB A to that same pc. Chose “listen on this device” and select the device name :)

use a loop ground isolator synchronicity turbine. that should help. If that doesn't work, use a tesla coupler.

I need to know if I can balance the Left & Right speakers, I have hearing problems with my left ear so not having the option to balance the L/R audio is a huge deal breaker for me. Ive owned the G733 & headsets from other brands and I had to return them because they didn't let me balance the L/R audio.

You can do this on Windows if you navigate to Sound Settings > select A50 X Game > Device Properties. However it is not a feature within G Hub or the Logitech G mobile app. I've noted this and shared it with our product team as a suggestion for a future accessibility update.

My issue now is when I have the PS5 and PC hooked up properly following all instructions, when in PC mode on my PC my mic is not being picked up. Discord, steam, nothing........ any help would be great. all settings correct in windows 11 and the setup of the A50X etc

If you have usb 3.2 red port. Try that. Or one of the front ports. None of my blue ports will read the mic. Just returned a nova pro for the same issue. Funny thing it worked for 3 days and than just decided to fuck off.

thanks for the vidoe. i hear there is an issue with not getting a signal or getting downgraded from 4k 120 fps when using the lg 32gq950-b monitor (which is the monitor i have) so my question is. can i forget about connecting the hdmi cables at all and just connect the base to the ps5 and pc using the usb cables ? i do not mind using it this way if it wil work ..

It doesnt. It only uses one input at a time but there is a workaround to get console and pc sound at the same time while still being able to use the mic on pc

From the video it looks like you don’t use the hdmi cable at all. That would only be for Xbox and ps5. Looks like you only use the USB port. Let me know.

Got mine set up and working appropriately. Only thing that’s annoying with this generation is that you have to use the included splitter wire and it has to be plugged into the wall to provide power. I tried to use my own usb-a to usb-c cord and power the base station just via the pc like last gen and it just flickers a red light. It MUST be plugged into the wall as well. My only gripe
