16:01 i don't know if you've noticed, but on the victory screen it shows that Legend deployed 2 units. One is Settra, the other are his combined titles- they take up so much space CA gave them their own unit

It's a silly bug that happened: I embedded a Runesmith I stole from Clan Angrund in Settra "army" to try and see how they did work together, using the Runesmith action which gives +10 Armor Bonus to the army. Later I removed the hero, but his armor bonus remained, and with it, the 2 number in the army. You can see the symbol of the armor bonus at the end of the video.

Hey Legend, thanks for showing my Settra! My choice for the Chariot of the Gods mount was mostly for style points and for the sheer fun of speeding through the map, but I also thought it would be interesting to have him fight a lot of single entity with it, and see ha can do well anyway. To increase his bonus vs large I got the Kholek defeat trait and I usually overcast Djaf's Incantation of Cursed Blades, which is his cheapest spell.

Something I've always thought about with the Lore of Nehekara is that it's a school of magic which requires constant casting. As long as you've got ample winds of magic, casting constantly to get small bonuses and constant regen is essential for Tomb Kings. That's why the spells are mostly really cheap, even when overcast.

Actually, lords or a heros on a chariot including Settra, Volkmar and Death Hag are anti-everything in this game, because the horses of a chariot also attack enemies while they share the weapon damage of the charater. In other word, the attack speed is increased significantly when a charater is on a chariot and high AP damage weapons like sword of khaine and obsidian blade can bring more bonus to these characters.

Don't most, if not all lords and heroes have basically aoe attacks? Like if there are multiple enemies around, the weapon damage gets spread out around 4,6,8, targets that they hit (I forget what determines how many they can hit). So even if targeting a single entity, if there are infantry around, it will not take full damage and some infantry will get deleted. Of course in dueling 1v1, they take the full damage. I could have sworn I watched a video on this somewhere, because otherwise each attack would hit one entity, and it would take 100 swings to kill a unit of 100 infantry. So being surrounded by infantry is great, but by lots of single entities and infantry not great, as it can take forever to bring a specific one down.

I started collecting tomb kings over 15 years ago. And obviously, i am a huge Settra fan to say the least. So this video made me very happy :D And i giggled a lot thinking how Settra is having a chill day and decided to spice it up with killing some elves and dragons for the fun of it

Remember that weapon strenght is also a value over some seconds, even thou he could had better melee defense on foot it's posible (if someone can confirm) that he attacks faster and more often on the chariot.

yeah the chariot attacks SUPER fast. Great when you're surrounded because you'll take out low-hp entities like infantry very quickly, not a lot of overkill on the hits. It also means when you're surrounded by single entities it doesn't matter as much when your attacks hit the "wrong" target. I noticed in the video that when Legend killed the phoenixes, he actually killed two of them within a second or two of each other because they were both low health and got wittled down nearly at the same time

You are right, characters on chariot have much higher attack speed because the horses of the chariot also attack enemies. Chariot of the Gods have 4 horses and each of these horses share half of Settra's weapon damage, which means Settra's real weapon damage is around 3.9k weapon damage when he equips sword of khaine.

Zoats have a big anti-large bonus and they're powerful if they get to use it. They're really good at dunking on large single entities but pretty useless against infantry.

Saying that "there is no reason to do it because skeletons are free", have you forgotten the beastmen armies that... also don't have upkeep but on top of that their shitty archers all have stalk. Having spearmen in this army just means that their army has a way to prevent army losses for a big while, while having the beastmen archers costs nothing because stalk.

I think you can go either way, whether on foot or mount. I really enjoyed watching the chariot though, especially when you kept that dragon in perma charge because he couldn't catch settra 🤣. Does being on a chariot give aoe attacks? If so that also seemed strong. The low defense from using chariot wasn't great. Btw the double cast of djafs gives bonus vs large.

That's how it was in Warhammer 2 as well, 30% ward save + insane vortex makes anybody op especially combined with other good equipment. The real concern is how it affects the rest of the faction

He already had max chance of hitting, he has 100 melee attack and 20 bonus vs large, the only large single entities he would struggle to hit would be a character like Tyrion or Archaon
