Siros Vaziri A pair of hats (B8 pro), a crash/ride (B8 pro), a 18 inch China (Aquarian, sounded like a literal trash can lid) and a fifteen year old Enforcer five piece kit (Standard five piece in Cherry Red hahaha came with bunch of "cosmetic" free stickers even xD). Add in a pair of 100 dollar PDP double kicks and you got the first set that I ever owned. [Standard Tom placement, two rack up front, floor to my right, my hats on the left hand side, crash/ride angled in between the old rack toms (angle was far to extreme and I had it way postioned far too high), and the China was slightly angled down and positioned right above my floor tom.] I was sixteen at the time. Still use the hats actually after all these years (back up set). It was pretty lucky actually since my mom was raising me on her own and didn't have a lot of extra money we found a random Craigslist post (ha). The cat had already talked to someone else about selling it to them, but when my Mother mentioned that it was for my sixteenth birthday the dude ended up "choosing us". Turns out he got that same kit (the Enforcer, ride/crash, and hats we added the China and double kick) when he turned 16, fifteen years prior. I played on that thing until it wore out. Great memories! Ended up converting the old broken down shells into a cat house, lol. Great video btw wish KZbin had the treasure trove of knowledge it does now back when I started.

So glad you touched on the 90 degrees or more of knee angle right out of the gate. When I see someone who sits very low, I instantly think they probably suck. I'm sure there are some low sitters out there who are good, I just havent seen any.

My first kit was my dad's massive pearl export kit. Four crashes, ride, hats, China, three splashes. I was so thankful to start on a big kit. Now I have a 7 piece gretsch Catalina maple and it is absolutely great.

I started playing a normal 5 piece kit my father had. Then my grandfather had a Tama Imperial-star 7 piece kit with a lot of cymbals. Back then I wasn’t as of a great player and now that I’m actually better than I was before I still have the drum set and now I got a 5 piece gretsch Catalina maple with just a crash and a ride which I love, but I’m trying to buy my dream cymbal pack andddddd start to add more into my drum. I’ve changed my style of playing about 3 or 4 times with the gretsch 🤣. Now I just learned a few more tips, thanks man.

I love your drumkit man, i have a question, ¿do you think that the bass drum should be the center of all the drumkit if you have just one bass drum?

It doesn't have to be at the center of the kit, what matters is that it's in a comfortable position for you to play it. Usually that will become slightly to the right.

I have another question, you say that Is recommended to have a 90º angle at the moment to sit, but ¿how much close or far from the drumkit do you recomend to sit?

As close or far away as necessary to sit upright with a straight back and be able to comfortably reach everything.
