I can remember buying my first V8 in 1982 and it was a white HX Sandman van 5 litre 4 speed identical to the car in this video. Paid $5,200. Great memories of the van.

Only 125k kms, nearly forty years old. The pollution rules for '76 made the Holden V8 especially anaemic, so you'd carefully store all the pollution gear away for starters. Nice too that the load area appears never to have been "fitted out" - no drill holes, attachments etc. My estimate is $175k for this nice original runner.

My brothers Sandman had nearly 500 thousand Ks on the clock...the old girl was unstoppable ...until she got rear ended by an idiot in a Range rover at the lights...R.I.P.
