This man has class! Note, no ridiculous over-vibrato, no pretentious hat, no unnecessary fill-in notes. Just (deceptively) simple, pure jazz harmony played immaculately with a wonderful, direct, untainted sound. Top drawer stuff.

And way more jazz guitarists need to try nylon guitar, the warm sound is just so perfect for jazz, and the expressiveness of finger style is sublime. Walter reminds me of why I learned the play nylon string fingerstyle years ago after hearing Louiz Bonfa, and Charlie Byrd and Laurindo Almeida play with such a beautiful warm sound-- I knew this was the guitar for me but after listening to Walter I wish I could play 1/4 as good!
