Seventeen live are truly a MUST. The energy at a SVT show is absolutely insane. There is a dance practice for their song ‘Without You’ from the Teen,Age album (it has the Korean title for the video “모자를 눌러쓰고”)where the DWC choreo leads in to. Highly recommend, for a SVT choreo it is on the less intense side but still amazing

You know what's a must watch after this? The 2x speed dance. And yes. That's The8 doing the stunts since he does martial arts and is a bboy.

The MV was filmed in LA :) Joshua'a hometown Edit: and yea the plaid shirt flipping guy is The8. He's usually the one thats in charge of the acrobatics/b-boy stuff

I’ve seen tons of live concerts, some groups multiple times. BTS, EXO, Shinee, 2PM, B1A4, B.A.P, NU’EST, Pentagon, etc. Seventeen’s concerts are the BEST. Tons of interaction with fans, their crazy personalities, lots of new song arrangements only heard at concerts, and they sound even better live and their choreo is INSANE up close. You should check out some of their concert dvds.

YESSS! You should checkout their acoustic version of don’t wanna cry and part switch. You should also check out the live stage of 2017 KBS music festival, it’s one of my favorite performance!!! And yes you’re getting the members right!!! I think you’ll like home which I’m pretty sure you’re going to check out next week!! They’re going to have a Japanese single in April!!! 😁 The8 was the one who did the flip! He knows how to b-boy and usually doing something crazy!
@miraidylagosto38123 жыл бұрын
You have to react to double speed version of this song(they are dancing) and to the Part switch. I would recommended doing these videos after you do all the ones you need to do first. And you are getting the names!!

'without you' is the sequel to don't wanna cry. it is a b-side though so no MV but has some live performance + dance practice. 'fearless', sequel to 'fear', is also a b side but has a lot of live stage performances. no MV and dance practive vid.

I knew seventeen since people say jun look alike heechul when they covered some suju song in their first debut, but I paid attention to them when they broke the stage while performing in golden disk award 2019... I hope you can react to their japanese single song too, falling flower, 24 hours, call call call, happy ending,

Don't Wanna Cry was their first foray into the kind of music they used for Thanks. It's still my favorite right after Pretty U. In my unskilled opinion, it's also one of the best choreos out there of any kpop song ever.

They probably won't have a Korean comeback anytime soon but on April, they'll have their Japanese comeback! Thank you again for reacting to their music/mv/choreo! ^^

They really outsold with this one. I saw Seventeen in January last year live that day was apparently also the day the first covid case was discovered in the US and it was in the city my concert was at 😳 so I was right on time and it was their last concert in the North America section of their tour which was canceled right after.

It really seems you'd love their bsides a lot. I'm not sure how you plan to continue with their discography after you're done with the title tracks but I highly recommend listening to their albums (TEEN,AGE is probably a good start or if you're only up for a mini album then HENG:GARAE). Coz of course the title tracks are usually the bright/hype ones or those with impactful choreo but their bsides are all so great. Their discography is really rich.

Seventeen has a lot of sad boy type tracks in their bsides (especially in the Going Seventeen, TeenAge and An Ode albums) and 90% of vocal unit songs are sad ballads lol. Definitely check out an album of theirs because their discography is extremely diverse in genre. Every albums of theirs starting from Love&Letter in 2016 is worth checking out, and I'm only excluding their 2015 albums because the production and musical ideas aren't as refined as on their later albums (when they had more money to perfect it), not because they're bad albums. My favorites are Going Seventeen (perfect winter/melancholic mood), You Make My Day (different shades of summer) and An Ode (a show of they've perfected every genre into their own sound).

Thanks for the reaction! I remember this song didn't particularly grab me at first, but the choreo completely converted me and helped me see the song for the gem it is. Something similar happened for BTS' Spring Day actually (a choreo must see as well!). One of the best parts of kpop is how the videos and the choreos can change how you hear the song. Kpop really sees the power of the visual experience of music -- I love it

YES. Was waiting for this one to come up in the line. Glad that you appreciate the emotional side of SVT, they have lots of those songs for sure. Home is another good one. Fallin' Flower is amazing. Habit is probably my favorite sad boy song though. The choreo here for Don't Wanna Cry will just forever be iconic. Lookit you, getting the names and faces down. You were correct about everyone you named, nice! It's a pretty good assumption that any flips will be The8, and it was. Again, thanks for the work you did to fix the video!

Good morning! (boo timezones) I'm glad DWC didn't let you down after all the hype. You already knew they excel at songs like this because you knew Thanks beforehand, but consider how surprising it must have been for Carats back then since it was a total style change to everything that came before. Or just check out PD's reaction to it and watch their mind get blown. XD There's currently a Japanese comeback called "hitori janai" (not alone) set to release on April 21st so unless they've got a surprise planned for March the Korean comeback might be a while. You're correct, it's The8 doing the flip :) The next title track in line is CLAP but, as others have said, there's 4 other songs with official MVs ("Change Up" a bop by the leader line, "Trauma" a full hip hop song by the rappers, "Pinwheel" a ballad by the vocalists and "Lilily Yabbai" aka Dance of the 13th month, a one-take masterpiece by the dancers) that were released alongside it that the CLAP MV makes several visual references to. The MVs might also help you get used to their faces more since they're conveniently split up by units. Though I'd understand if you'd consider them bonus content or something since they're not title tracks, don't feel too pressured if they'd throw your schedule off too much. You specifically asked for it so here's me word vomiting my feelings on DWC: I only got into kpop as a whole last summer, I came at it from a dancer angle just thinking it'd be a nice change of pace to learn choreo in a style I'm not used to, so I wasn't planning on "stanning" any one group. On my search for songs that I liked that weren't too hip hop-y (that also introduced me to Dreamcatcher) I came across the DWC MV. While my first thought was similar to many other people's ("Why are they called Seventeen if there's 13 of them and why are there 13 of them in the first place"), the way they used their number to their advantage became apparent very quickly. I liked the MV and the song plenty, to the point where it still gives me the occasional chill to this day even though it apparently was my most listened to song of 2020. But what really sold me was the dance practice. I don't even know how many times I've watched it, but pretty much during the first chorus my heart had decided and was like "these ones, I want these ones" and that was it. My brain was still rebelling against having to learn 13 faces and the whole idea of getting into a specific group in the first place, so it took me a while until I eventually broke and watched some guides and started in on GoSe. But it's been a fun ride so far and I haven't regretted my decision yet X"D

Thank you for the reaction! Oh also, now that I've finished watching, chronologically the next major MV is Clap, but I would highly recommend watching the unit specific songs that were released during that comeback. I saw someone else listed them so I'm not going to do the same, but there are So Many callbacks to those videos (and others) during Clap that you would not get the full experience and enjoyment if you go into Clap without having watched them. RE Don't Wanna Cry: I was introduced to Seventeen (and kpop actually) not long before this comeback, and this is the song that made me a Carat. Also, this is a whole group who Danced in Balenciagas in the Desert! FO Squad were the first reactors that I've ever seen to point that out, so it's basically my duty to tell everyone that little fact :D
