6:41 yeah it is based off Son Goku from Dragon ball. Seventeen especially Woozi and Joshua are huge fans of anime. And you can actually see a lot of Dragon Ball references in their choreography. At 4:02 they did the "Instant Transmission" move, at 4:15 he did "Kamehameha", 4:40 Nimbus Cloud and 4:47 Goku's power Pole even at the end of the MV they said "this is the ending song of an anime" 😍😂😂 This song is really powerful and meaningful because Seventeen are like Goku they never give up + they keep getting stronger (Super Saiyan) thanks to their fans and staff 🔥🔥🔥

Im so glad yall loved the song!! The Mullet guy is S. Coups. He is the leader of Seventeen and I agree with you they killed it! I am telling you that there multitalent don't end here. It is so much to this group. There are 13 members not Seventeen as J Mac caught. However, they are amazing, unique, fresh, and so creative and special. I can't wait for y'all to see the greatness. It took this song to officially keep my Carat. Get it? Sonogong is Korean for the Chinese Mythical figure Sun Wukong the Monkey King in the Chinese novel Journey to the West which is what Goku of Dragonball is inspired by which is why so many references in the song and Woozi and Joshua are big anime fans.

Sonogong, aka the monkey king is a character from the 16-century Chinese novel: journey to the west, which is the inspiration for the anime character dragon ball z’s Goku. You can actually see they depicted both versions where they did the monkey hands move and the kamehameha right after

Goku’s character is based off of son wukong the monkey king. Dragon ball’s story is inspired by the Chinese folktale “journey to the west.” Not dragon ball z but just dragon ball, when goku was still a little kid with his tail.
