The problem with using a shotgun at Primarch difficulty is that, you have Cyrus at close range to the enemy. Which you do not want to happen to him.

@@RAD1111able I'm with you on that one, I somehow made progress on that difficulty but one of the site protection mission was almost impossible for me the pass. It was on angel's forge against tyranids when they start to swarm me those long range flying mobs shreds my units and even Cyrus' snipe shot won't insta kill them and I eventually run out of explosives and turrets everytime I tried that mission so I left that save. Maybe I'll try again later.

it's worthy sequel to dow1...but it's not RTS. That's why people so split on it - it's a better game then DOW1 in most aspects, but it's not RTS - it's more tactical RPG which made so many fans of dow1 sad. I love both games tho.

Getting the chaingun for Dreadnaught Thule plus the upgrade perks into reducing the cooldown on his brrrt skill was insane. Doesn't matter how many xenos waves come the brrrt never ends.

I loved farming second mission nonstop until about level 8-10 and some good gear. Context: if you exit the mission before last enemy is killed, save will throw you back into this one. Poor Avitus was reliving his indignity over and over and over... P.S.: dreadnought autocannon can destroy 2 out of 3 hive clusters on final mission with it's ability before you inject the bioweapon. Reducing number of eventual enemies drastically.

Combine with the fact that AoS is getting more spotlight while the people behind the decision making refuse to give TWW TOW stuff. Barely anything changed.

Jeśli kampania z DoW2 ci się podobała, to zagraj w dodatki, oba są *dużo* lepsze od bazowej kampanii. Ja bardziej lubię ten drugi ( retribution) bo przynajmniej trochę wraca do RTSowych korzeni serii. A kampanie orków i Gwardii Imperialnej warto ograć dla samych tylko dialogów.

If DoW 2 was more centred in big armies and not in squad combat and 'small' battles it would have been the best. It's still a good game and sequel. But it could have been much better than the original DoW instead of being simply a good sequel

It is much different from Warcraft. First of all, it is not an RTS. There are no base building mechanics, and you only have 4 squads of units in each mission. I like Dawn of War II, but it's hard to say whether you had like it too.
