0:29 Ooh, good ideas here! “Severance pay” at a job actually IS related to “sever” as in “to cut.” I guess because you’re “cutting” the worker out of the company. It’s not related to the word “severe” but they do look and sound pretty similar so I understand how you got there! “Sever” also has the connotation of not just cutting, but dividing something into separate pieces-you can see how it’s a great title for this show haha. Language is so interesting!

I've watched this show, and it's so good. And I can't imagine doing this to anyone, let alone doing it to yourself. It's a version of yourself, who has no memories of a personal life, no idea where you live, if it's a house, or an apartment, if you live on a boat, no idea if you're married, have children, parents, siblings, no idea about anything outside of work. And you never get to leave. Never get to leave work, holy crap. Never get to have dinner, never get to relax, other than on a break. The other you gets to never have to go to work. And no idea if it's even safe to have that procedure done to your brain. But a great idea for a show. Your patreons have given you some really amazing shows to watch.

This show is incredible.

This is probably one of the smartest shows of the last couple of years. And yet, it dumps most of the information around the mystery in the very first episode. Still, the actual hell of a ride is yet to come. Since it's not a very long season, I think it's possible you are already through in real life. If so, you probably know what I mean by now. If not - well, buckle up! Speaking of shows you'd most likely feel intrigued about from the very beginning too: try Dark! It's about in the same ball park in terms of jaw-dropping moments of realization what a clever story you are watching. Maybe Dark takes a little longer to lead you into that feeling that you're not just watching a crime show about kidnapped or murdered children.
