Severe Flooding in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil

This video is about the flooding that has happened in Rio Grande do Sul Brazil. The flooding started over a week ago and has affected a large part of the state. In this video I will explain how it happened, which parts were affected and what the latest situation is.

The whole country is helping with donations which is really good but the region still needs all the help it can get. Gisele Bundchen, the Brazilian model, has a charity called Brazil Foundation which is providing aid to the region. It is possible to donate on their website if anyone is interested

@@nordicinvestor2 I’m following the events on social media and it’s amazing what the people in Brazil are doing. Much more than the government in my opinion. I’m friends with some people in the Serra gaúcha area. It’s heartbreaking

Thank you NI for showing us the situation in your state using maps which provides a sobering view on the extents of the numerous disasters. It is unfortunately much worse than I thought as there is a lack of English information around. I heard SC was also under attack but much less and only in areas close to your state but I'm not sure of this. I believe your own area is safe (?) so you must be relieved. Truly sad. Let"s hope the rains stop and the waters recede quickly.
