Hi my escort rs turbo has the same system ke jet. Can you recommend some good fuel pressure testers for it? I boughy cheap one and it leaks everywhere. Cant get car started when its cold. Starts great when its warm. I even upgraded from k to ke Jetronic. Ive tried 3 different fuel metering units in total 👎

If it can't start cold then test the cold start valve. This way or another measure both pressures and their relation also, if you have converted the system to KE-Jetronic then maybe you didn't connect the EHA as it is supposed to be so at the cold start in the morning the ECU makes the mixture LEANER instead of making it RICHER. That can be seen by long cranking time. In order to check that you will have to get the wiring diagram for the ECU for FORD for KE-Jetronic. That much I can help for now.

Thanks for the reply and happy new year. I've had csv out and it's good. Yes very long cranking when cold. My plugs are wet with fuel and they spark , my timing is also good. I only have a one-way valve in fuel line and pump to replace then I have done the entire fuel system. I have had 3 different metering units on it

Ja sam iz Sarajeva BiH ...imam motor M103 u mercedes g klasi 1994 godina ...rad na leru mi mjenja stalno nekad je 500 obrtaja nekada 1300 ..ostalo sve pali ide dobro bez problema ..potrosnja je prosjecna oko 20 litara ...ovdje ne smijem nikome dati da to pravi ..bojim se da ne bude gore😂...

When I Look first time the timing was Only 19 degrees 2500-3000 Rpm... Idle with vakuum 5 degrees.500Rpm..Dou you. have Video how to do timing?

Hello. I will see what I can do. What you have is K-Jetronic with TSZ-ignition. I will see what I can do because this is not my sphere of interest. For this you need a stroboscopic lamp. See if your grooves are aligned and the rotor has to be facing towards cylinder 1. Then is your ignition set.
