Chihuahua Mix is Paralyzed in the Back Legs || IVDD Recovery

Dr. DiVita and Dr. Wong meet Chiki, a 7-year-old Chihuahua that was normal one day and lost the ability to walk the next day. Possible causes for this included a slipped disk(IVDD), meningitis, tumor, and others. An MRI was recommended to find the cause of this sudden inability to walk which revealed a slipped disk in her mid-back spinal cord.
Surgery was performed under the same anesthetic period and Chiki made a fantastic recovery!

My chi suddenly stopped walking and was in pain last week. no idea how or why. took her to the vet and she's now paralyzed on her back legs. they told me to basically put her down. i've been watching video after video. i don't want to be too hopeful but this certainly helps
