Bugsy, a 13-year-old Shih Tzu, presented to Southeast Veterinary Neurology for inability to walk on all four limbs. An MRI was performed, which found that a slipped disk was the cause of Bugsy's inability to walk. Conservative management was the first course of treatment and was deemed ineffective, so Bugsy's family made the decision to move forward with surgery. After surgery, and two weeks of strict crate rest, Bugsy was walking better than ever!
Watch until the end to see how Bugsy is doing post-operatively!
