Love ALL your videos. I do appreciate your quarterly updates as they show what is trending. Fantastic amount of sales. I was inspired by your videos to make 12 Christmas gifts for family and friends for very little cost. Being a pensioner there is very little money to go around. I love your breakdown videos, and what i really love is how much you emphasise that the cost does include your time. It is so important not to underestimate the value of our own time when we make things to sell. The Red/Black polka-dot dress at the beginning of the video is stunning.

Hi Christine. Yes, please continue your breakdown videos. They are very informative and I am sure I not the only one who tries to guess the ones to make your top 10 list.

Haha, even I try to guess the outcome and hope that one day something will surprise us all and surpass those shopping bags 😀
@kylierigby1953 Жыл бұрын
@@ChristinesHomeAffairs I've made lots of shopping bags also, some sold at markets. But I mainly use them for wrapping gifts in so no paper is needed. They work great, and the extra gift factor. I am certain your bags will always be number one. And rightly so. Now you need the lines ones to take off also. For $20 that is a great price. People should really be grateful that you get given your fabrics. You are able to send the blessings on. ☺️

I love that you place the gifts inside the bags instead of wrapping them. I have so many more customers doing this each year. 😀

Thank you Christine for sharing, your story it is so interesting. My 2 sisters and I sewed for years, bridesmaid and 2 wedding dresses, drapes, tote bags, young children's party dresses etc. and enjoyed it. Now (77yrs) I live in a small condo without a nice sewing room and places for supplies, also sewing does bother my back. However, occasionally, I will do alterations for my grand daughters and like helping with that. I thought sewing was going out of style, so I am pleased to see it isn't. Love your ideas and work, especially the vinyl bags, so nice.

That's a very good additional income. I love to sew, and my husband loves money. He wants me to sell the things I make. He doesn't really understand thst that also takes a pretty good size investment, and time to make enough items to sell to be worth it. I luckily live in a town where we can put up tables in certain areas and sell handmade items. It's a retired military community, and all the wives sit and sew, or crochet all day. Ita nice we can make money to keep our hobbies going. Thank you for some wonderful ideas.

Thank you so much Frances, and welcome! I only started doing alterations about 6 years ago, and sew to sell about 3 years ago. My journey started from necessity, as I was really struggling financially. Now it's become a lucrative part of my regular income. Of course I can't survive on sewing alone, and still need my store for income, but I get to enjoy sewing every day, and still work to help pay the bills. Listen to your heart, and do what is right for your needs. Treat it as a suppliment to regular income until it becomes enough to keep you going 😀

This was a great. Showing the products, telling the prices and how things sold was such a big help for me.I sell things to make money for the mission work i do. The information you gave was very helpful. I make around 350 bags a year to bring to some of the missions i do, but don't seem to be able to sell many of them. People in my town always say they get bags from businesses, but maybe the smaller bags might go for me.
