I love it. It came out so good. The fabric they chose is perfect.

I really like the two different quilting styles. It looks very good like that. I was also watching the Sarah Boone trial with Emily D Baker! Hello fellow LawNerd! lol

Don't know how I managed it, but once again I've deleted a comment before I was done making it. Le sigh. Take two. Good morning and happy middle of the week to all! I *love* this bag. It's definitely one of Sewers Club's better projects, and that's saying a lot considering their usual high quality offerings. The fabrics look great together, it's a nice size (perfect for a pair of snips, a seam ripper, and spare floss bobbins when working on a cross stitch or embroidery project), and the charms are such a nice touch. You did excellent work on it, too, with the different directions on the quilt lines, the almost-perfectly centered "handmade" tag, the extremely straight & even zipper installation, and even the binding looks pretty darn good. And just look at how well your seams line up where the green wraps around the base; even when you point out the one corner that isn't quite lined up, I can't really see that it's off there. Everything about the bag is top-notch - the pattern, the materials, and the sewing itself. It's inspiring me to work on some of my own projects today :-)

Thank you, it came together so well. Thanks for pointing out my slightly wonky tag too, I hadn't noticed it until Jeff pointed it out, even then I didn't really seen it until I was editing the video. So in my mind it just adds character. It is a good size for so many different things.

@@fredmakesthings I didn't mean to make it sound like a criticism; I was honestly impressed by how nearly-perfect the centering on the tag was. Alas, the inspiration to sew went unfulfilled; we had a power outage shortly after I posted the comment, and by the time it came back on the desire to sew had passed. Maybe tomorrow!

I never took it as a criticism, more like a helpful comment I didn't really expect to see. I also got no sewing done, but I did manage a few more rows on a shawl.

@@fredmakesthings Oh, good, I'd hate to think I'd upset you. And yay for shawl progress!!

I'm out of state visiting family and i'm using it to hold all my charging cords and power pack. It holds so many cords and plugs.

That’s what I was thinking too. It seems about right for travel cord management

Will you be adding pouches like this to your shop in the future

I’m not sure, maybe 🤔 I’d probably have to experiment a bit more with it first.
